Convention Swaps

This year I got a bit crazy and joined an organized swap that was more class oriented.  I could not believe the beautiful projects I received back.  Every last one of them was amazing and beautiful.  By looking at them you knew that these ladies spent a lot of time on them.  I understood because my own was time consuming, but fun.  Here is my project.  I think it would be perfect for any wedding.

This was my original design and by the end I had tweeked it a bit.  For the ones I swapped I had added a Whisper White Fleurettes 2 (115604) with a Whisper White Button on top of it.  Everything looked so pure and WHITE!  I used many of my favorite things on this project such as:

Friends 24-7 Stamp Set (113218)

Taffetta Ribbon (109070)

Forever Flowers Wheel (111252)

Little Leaves Sizzlits (114511)

I used the gorgeous Bride Specialty paper (115669) and the Wedding Words Rub ons (115727)!

The inside of the tins held 5 Note Cards with envelopes and (2) 3 x 3 cards!  My favorite thing on the note cards was using the Finial Press Embossing Folder! (115963).  Here are a few more pics!

I used the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder (115964) for the 3 x 3 cards.  I love how the Modern Label punch worked beautifully with the Love Rub On!  Stampin’ Up! really has the best punches!!

Enjoy your weekend!  I plan to catch up on a lot of work and A LOT of stamping!

  1. Kimberly, this is absolutely STUNNING! I can only imagine the work that must have gone into this and I’m sure the ladies that received it were absolutely thrilled!

  2. This is so elegant! I just love everything about this – the detail that you went into! I would love to see what the others made. Yours is just gorgeous!

  3. This has to be one of the most loveliest things I’ve seen in a long time. I unfortunately couldn’t attend convention this year due to us having a house fire in April and our house still not liveable yet, so I have really felt bad about missing all the swapping, especially the organized stuff and being able to see stuff like this is so wonderful. Thanks for sharing. You really do lovely work.

  4. Kimberly, I was blessed to get one of your FABULOUS swaps at Convention and I have received RAVE reviews about it! It was my favorite swap from the WOW swap!!! You also ROCKED with your presentation! I spoke to you afterward about how you really put a fresh spin on recruiting. You were the first one to ever make sense on why you should recruit your best customers. Thanks!!!
