Canada, eh?

Howdy from Canada!  I am sooooooooooo excited to be here with many Canadian Demonstrators at Stampfest.  I flew in today and tonight we stamped some gorgeous cards.  It’s always exciting to stamp with new friends.

I wanted to share my Scrap Club layouts with you.  I had my scrap club last night and we had so much fun.  This club always just makes me giggle.

We just had to make a snowman page this month.  I used the Coluzzle to cut out the circles, the square scallop punch with the Word Window punch to make the hat.  The nose is from the Star Punch. The Holly on the hat is from the Christmas Classics stamp set.  on the bottom of the layout I used a Pacific Point Top Note layered with a transperancy with snowflakes stamped using the Winter Post stamp set and White Stazon.  Love that stuff.

I think this layout may have put my scrap club over the edge.  They had to cut the cupcakes out and run the bottoms through the crimper.  Then the muffin tops were cut out as well.  I know, a lot of cutting!  It’s sooooooo cute though.  The "celebrate you" is matted on top of the bottom of the Basket and Blooms basket.  Another fun element.  Then, I had to add a banner.  I know, crazy me.  🙂  We used the Contempo Alphabet.  GREAT set.

  1. Love these scrapbook pages Kimberly. The cutting was well worth it to have the end result look so yummy.

I attended Stampfest 2008 yesterday. I have to say You are a fantabulous speaker.
I love SU and am a hobby demo but have the desire to make it my business and you have told me how to do it. I am so pumped to get out and make it happen.
Thank You for the kick start I need to get out there and just do it. I know your success has not come without determinatin and hardwork.
I once heard “find something you love and figure out how you can make money from it”. SU has given me something I love and You have shown me how to make a business of it.
    THANK YOU!

  2. Hi Kimberly,
Thanks you so much for coming to Canada…You were very inspiring. I am hobby Demo as well and I am very happy with the way things are right now.
I loved how you shared you personal life experiences with all the moving around and rebuilding your business from scratch.
I now am confident that once I get to the point of wanting more out of this passion of mine (just love to create) and wanting to make this my business, that I too will put my big girl’s pants on and get it done.
Thanks for the inspiration, you were awesome:-) Hope to meet you again…someday!
    Julie

  3. Sounds like you all had a great time! These are beautiful pages. I’m going to try the snowman page tomorrow.

  4. Wow! I love the layout! I may be able to do this (just to set you straight: I stamp, I don’t scrapbook). It’s just hard to be a demonstrator and not be able to offer both. Thanks so much for the inspiration!!

  5. Thanks so much for all the cute scrapbooking ideas! I’m always looking for new layout ideas to share with my customers. I can’t wait to show them the cupcakes! How clever! I visit your blog often and CASE frequently. Thank you for always sharing your great ideas. My customers love them! I’ve left an award fo you over on my blog…www.sarahanthony.typepad.com

  6. I loved your projects…and I now have another excuse on why my housework won’t get done today!! I am so going to have to make these! Thank you for sharing…I wish I had been there. It looks like it was a blast.
