At Last- Convention Gifts!

I'm coming to the end of my sharing of things I personally made during the Stampin' Up! Convention and at last, it's my Convention Gifts.

Like I said in yesterday's post about the Roomie Gifts, I needed to simplify becasue I didn't have a lot of time with the upcoming move and everyday life.  The great thing about this year's convention was the amount of downline I had attending.  It was the largest group I've had to date.  Being this was the 25th anniversary, I was glad to see many attended.

When creating convention gifts for my downline this year, I wanted to keep them simple but still a WOW. The new Tag a Bag gift bags were a perfect solution this year.

Convention Gifts, Stampin' Up!

If you are looking to create small handmade gifts, the Tag a Bag Gift Bags (#131370) will not only save you time, but once decorated they look SO fancy.

With just a few pieces of Ribbon and a Tea Doily,  I hot glued the embellishments onto the bag with ease.  I created the Tag from My Digital Studio and printed from my home printer.  Once printed I punched the image using my 2 1/2" Circle punch and then hot glued the circle punch to the Burlap.

These were finished in no time at all.  Inside I placed my swap card along with a package of Rhinestones becasue these demonstrators are Gem's for coming to convention.

I also placed this little card inside the bag.

This is a simple 3 x 3 card with a little note inside.  I used the Silhouette Cameo to cut the feathers and these were created quickly.

As you can see I was able to create fun and fast projects that were not only handmade but had a little wow factor as well.

Below you can find all the supplies to create these projects to recreate for yourself.

  1. Just wanted to say once again, how much I love all my Kimberly Van Diepen goodies!  They have a place with the rest of my Kimberly Van Diepen collectibles in my stamp room.  The only thing that won't be there are the goodies inside!!!  Thank you my darling friend.  Num Num!  hahahaha.

These are wonderful and what a sweet gift inside the bag!   Think pearls and rhinestones are two items like snail that we all use soooo often!   Congratulations for your awards!   Best wishes with packing and the big move!

  3. I still have to pinch myself that I attended a Kimberly Van Diepen MDS class! You were ever so wonderful & gracious; you offered so much in such a short time; to me it was in the top 5 convention highlights! Best of luck as you & your family prepare another move & thank you, again, for your inspiration & an (MDS) hug!
