For many of you with school age kids they are starting to go back to school. We still have a few weeks left of Summer to enjoy and then reality sets in… Back to School! Are you ready for it? Honestly I'm NOT! We had such a great Summer and I've really enjoyed the kids being home. The only time I think about the kids being in school is when we stroll into the grocery store and they start making me crazy. Can you relate?
The real question is are YOU ready for Fall? It's coming up so fast. I hate to see the Summer go because it's been so fun, but I love decorating and crafting for the Fall season.
You should be receiving your Holiday Mini Catalog in the mail and the new Fall products are just amazing. The stamps, designer paper and the fabric is just gorgeous. I have a little sneak peek for you today.
This stamp set is called Gently Falling. I'm a sucker for any leaf images and this one really caught my eye. I love that it's a two step stamp. This card not only uses the stamp set but the Designer Series Paper, Spice Cake. Love the paper. Just LOVE it. I also used the Spice Cake Fabric. It's hoppin' with products and there is one product I used on here that was REALLY fun! I used my Pastels. You see the More Mustard on the leaves? That is actually More Mustard from my pastels. I also added a little texture over the leaves using a new background stamp called Netting. It's one of my new favorite backgrounds.

Love the card. I'm in a swap and I'm using Spice Cake dsp and fabric. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this line. Did I tell you that I love the Spice Cake?! 🙂 The kids out here started school yesterday. Bittersweet for me, cause I always feel that summer is over when the kids go back to school. Good luck to your sweeties as they start their new year!

I LOVE this card! Spice Cake is my very favourite new line from SU! My oldest is just entering school this year; so I'm not sure if I'm ready or not. I feel ready right now, but I'm positive I won't be ready when the first day of school arrives!
