Time flies by when you're having fun, doesn't it? Today I celebrate 16 awesome years with Russ. 16 years ago he walked into the hospital in his choker white uniform with long stem roses and got down on one knee in front of the entire nursing staff I worked with and proposed. I said "YES!" of course. At that time my friends that I worked with probably thought I was crazy. Russ and I had only known each other four short months. I had that butterfly feeling in my stomach. I knew this was the guy I will grow old with. Two days later we were at the Justice of the Peace saying our vows. Now I'm sure my friends were thinking, "She's pregnant!" That answer came 5 years later… Brandon.
Just like many other military stories you hear, we spent our honeymoon on the road to his next duty station. Since then we've never looked back and made a lot of great memories along the way… in many more great cities. It just keeps getting better and I still have those butterflies in my stomach. I'm thankful everyday for him. He deserves a medal for putting up with me.
Hope you're having a fantastic Wednesday! I'm off to spend time with my Prince.
XOXOXO

It's like that movie, Officer and a Gentleman, I don't remember seeing it but just the part where he carries that girl out of the factory or something…so I hope it was a good movie, cause your movie is an awesome one.

Diana, that was my favorite movie that my mom and I watched over and over again before I met Russ. He never knew that was a favorite of mine and he almost re-created that scene in the movie. LOL! The proposal was very fairytale and he continues to to amaze me daily. 🙂 XOXO
