Flurry of Wishes
Yes, I’m dreaming of many wishes… but surely not a FLURRY of wishes here in Florida. That’s why we moved here to Pensacola, to get away from all that crazy cold weather. It’s doubtful I will ever see a snow flurry here. BUT… that doesn’t mean I don’t like to stamp them.
I’m sharing a fun card using the Flurry of Wishes stamp set today. Loving the greetings in the set and the fonts they used. A little fact about me, I love FONTS. I have way too many of my computer and I’m always looking for more. My eye is always drawn to the greetings in a set looking for the fun fonts.
I am loving those Winter Wonderland embellishments too. SO pretty and delicate. I also added one of the new Iced Rhinestones.
Tips & Tricks
To adhere the Winter Wonderland Embellishment I placed 2 Mini Glue Dots underneath and it seems like it’s there to stay. I bet I could have used some Tombow Glue, but this was easy for this lazy stamper.
The last thing I added to this card was a splash of glitter… Silver glitter.
This stamp set has a matching punch for the two smaller snow flakes. I had originally planned on using it but then last minute decided not too.
I do love the colors on this card and thought it would be just as pretty done in pink. What do you think? I might have to give that a try.
Okay, I’m down to the wire before I leave. Still not completely packed… swaps not really done… and a little one with a fever. Well, not so little. My son has a sore throat and fever. Isn’t that how it always works?? Seriously!
