Happy Monday! Boy did I have a creative weekend.
It started on Thursday night when I stayed up WAY past my bedtime- 2 am! I did pay for it the next day but could feel the energy that creating gave me. That energy literally carried me through the entire weekend.
I did have a mission to achieve over the weekend. I have to say this strategy was smart on my part. After not creating in for a bit I decided to pull out all of my Paper Pumpkins that I have stored away since last August (pathetic really) and put all of them together. Then any kits I had laying around I wanted to work on. It was a success. I have all my Paper Pumpkin kits complete!!
I did change up the projects a bit but overall what this provided me was the ability to create and get my creative juices flowing again. I love the stamp images in our Paper Pumpkin kits. Keep in mind that our Paper Pumpkin kits are EASY stamping. It was the perfect projects for me to work on to jump start my creativity and these are perfect for crafters who do not have a lot of times on their hands.
Once my Paper Pumpkin kits were complete I started working on a few Valentine projects.
I found this project on Instagram. Oh how I love this social network. I see some of the cutest crafting projects on Instagram. This project was inspired by the Crafted Sparrow. I downloaded the printable and used my 2 1/2" circle punch to punch the images. SO simple and so cute. Inside are the coke bottle gummies. I created these for my kids teachers and Sunday School teachers.
Next to tackle was my overflowing basket of project kits.
Both of these kits below are part of our Sale-a-Bration. The banner is ADORABLE and the card kit is quick and easy!!
One of the best parts about my creative weekend was creating with my mom. Sadly, we have not had the chance to create together since I moved back to Florida. WOW! We created all day long and Alexis joined in to create her Valentines for her class too. What a GREAT weekend!
Last night I had one last project to complete the weekend- a digital layout!!
We have a new challenge on our MDS Challenge Facebook Group! If you are wanting to learn more about My Digital Studio or you are just starting out, give this Facebook Group a try and learn the basics along with MANY challenges to get your digital creativity started.
I love starting with a sketch. What a GREAT starting point when creating anything.
As you can see, I was a busy girl. Creating on all levels and enjoying every minute. The best news… I was in my studio again late last night creating more. I'm on fire, at least that's what it feels to me.
I hope your Monday is FANTASTIC!!
