I was cleaning out my craft area the other day before I started creating like a mad woman and this thought came to my mind BIG time. Even funnier is Stampin' Up! made this quote a stamp brush in a new My Digital Studio download.
Think about it, haven't we all seen styles come and go with the creative process? Things like Vellum being hot and trendy and then Silver took on our life, and who can remember when Mesh was all the rage?
Now we are into burlap, gold, arrows and geometric shapes. These will stick around for awhile and then we will see more great things come and go.
The best part is our creativity NEVER goes out of style. Whatever tool, new product or trend we always continue to create, enjoy the trends and inspire each other.
It's no surprise I'm behind on my Valentines cards. The most important one being for the Prince. We were discussing Valentines gifts with each other yesterday and he was stumped on what to get me. Honestly, I need nothing.
This year, a small little improvement from him is what will make my Valentines sweeter. This year is not so much about the gift but about what we have together. Let's not forget that. A simple "I love you" can mean so much and even sweeter in a handmade card.
Since the Prince doesn't need anything material either it was time for me to create a card and write encouraging words inside. I thought this card was perfect for him. It's all about "you & me!" Now to tell him how much he "completes me", "gets me" and you know the rest. It's true. He's all those things.
