I wanted to make something fairly quick this afternoon before I was out the door running errands and I thought about the Scallop Die Cut Box! It’s been silently speaking to me on my desk. It really was SCREAMING for attention. So here is the little creation I came up with.
Dimensions for this box are approx. 3 3/4 Tall and 2 1/4 wide.

The colors alone on this box makes me smile. In fact I think it skips Spring and jumps straight to Summer. Oh how I wish SUMMER was HERE! The box is super easy to put together! You can see below some of the products I used. I love the Pink Flamingo Designer Series Paper. Being a Florida girl, this paper is really up my ally. Not to mention my love for Flamingo’s and any type of birdie!

Other products used on this box was Really Retro stamp set with its adorable sentiments, Fifth Avenue Floral (isn’t that flower pretty?), dazzling diamonds and Fine Supernova Stampin’ Up! glitter. I also used the Stampin’ Up! Little Leaves Sizzlet Die cut.
Happy Thursday!

This wedding invitation was much more involved! Lots of elements on it but I think it turned out beautiful. The stamp set is To Have & To Hold. I used the Together Forever Wheel and stamped on Shimmer White cardstock using Whisper White craft ink and clear embossed. I wanted a raised look on the background. It was a success. Then I stamped the peeps on shimmer white with Black Stazon and colored in only her dress using Blush Blossom. Very soft. I added some tulle (sp?) for her vail and a pearl as well as some pretty flowers and a pearl for her bouquet. Viola! Another invitation for this fun wedding season.
Thanks to Michelle Laycock for one of my new Watermark designs. I am thrilled with my chubby little birdies. They are so cute.
Okay, off to design!

If love is in the air and you are thinking about making that life long commitment, I may be able to help you in the wedding invite department. Here is a fun wedding invite I cooked up this week:

This is a super elegant invite, yet simple. Easy for anyone to make dozens of! The stamp set used is For the Bride. I stamped the wedding cake on Whisper White cardstock using Basic Black craft ink and clear embossed the image. Then I ran the actual invitaion through my computer using Vellum. I attached this piece to the top of the Whisper White cardstock using a small amount of adhesive and then tied the Whisper White Organza ribbon at the top to make sure the vellum was secure. This is really a simple card and can be changed to any color!
More wedding invites to share tomorrow. Have a great night!

Ahhhhh!!!! Nothing like a little midnight stampin’ tonight. Feels FABULOUS!
So yesterday I said I would share a little somethin’ somethin’ that we made at my open stamp on Saturday. Well, here it is!

I’m lovin’ this stamp set! There are some serious products on this card. Lots of play with the Big Shot. We used the Textured Plates diamond background using Whisper White cardstock and then layered again on Whisper White. I love this cool faux embossed look. I used the following die cuts: Scallop #2, Circles #2 and Lots of Tags. The Old Olive circle cardstock was cut using the Circle Scissors. Whooo Hooo!!! Then using the 1/2" circle punch I layered it over the tag and then punched a Rhinestone brad through it. I really liked that look.
The stamp set is Trendy Tree’s. I really {HEART} that set. Very trendy and super cute. (I have a SUPER cool class coming up in a week or so using this stamp set! Stay tuned for a class to go using this set! YOU really, really don’t want to miss it!) The last thing I added on this card was the Sale-A-Bration ribbon. Isn’t this great ribbon? I really like it! Remember, during Sale-A-Bration when you spend $50 you could receive this awesome ribbon bundle for yourself. Just go to my SHOP NOW button and shop away!
Okay, this second card is part of my midnight stamping!

This card looks pretty similar to the card above. Again, I used the Stampin’ Up! textured plates. The Owl came from the Bright Delight Rub On’s. WOW do I love these rub ons. Love all the fun colors. The vine comes from Cheep Talk. I also added the fun new Designer Hardware. Whoo Wee love these too. If you have a crop a dile they are super easy to use. The last product on here is the beautiful Kiwi Kiss polka dot ribbon. That is called Pig Tails. So fun.
Well, there you have it. A few fun projects to start out your stampin’ week. More to share tomorrow so check back!
PS… I ate an entire box of Girl Scout cookies tonight. Ahhhh… get them out of my house!!!

It really was. I spent it with many stampers, AKA Friends! Can there be anything better? It really started on Friday night with my Cocktails and Crafts club. These ladies make me laugh until my sides hurt. They are so funny and the conversations could go on all night I’m sure if I let them. Then Saturday night I held an Open Stamp. Once again this was time spent with my friends and we had a great night. I watched many of my girlfriends finish beautiful projects. A few canvas projects were completed and a few cards were completed. I love seeing them use their STUFF! We did a quick make n take Saturday as well and I will share as soon as I can get my pics off of my camera. Seems we have a little problem with the connection right now. It’s on the list to get fixed TODAY!
Meantime, let me share another card with you. If you know me, you know my love of Coffee and Starbucks. I know this is one company that will continue to be strong because of the amount of money I invest into them daily.
When the new catty came out I only wished for ONE stamp set to be in there. A COFFEE set! I was pretty excited when I had seen the Sip by Sip stamp set.

Here is a picture of all the images:

I love the coffee stain! So stinkin cute!!!!
Anyways, for my card I used my favorite colors of Chocolate Chip and Kraft as the base. Love me some Kraft!!! I also used the new awesome 5/16" Brad Assortment. Chocoloate Chip brads……. just pick me up off the floor. The best I tell ya! You can see the brad at the top of the card and I pushed that through one of our new fun sizzlets called Lots of Tags. WOW! Love them too. One thing that is hard to catch on this card is the Textured plate used on the Chocolate Chip cardstock. I love how it looks in real life. Really adds to the card.
Well, I’m off to get ready for a fun lunch date I have planned! Whoo Hoo! Then it’s off to fix my camera. Argh! Have a super Monday and I hope to be back later with a few more fun projects to share with you.
