Here it is midnight and I'm bound and determined to share this Graduate card with you. It's such a simple card with little things added. I've seen this trend on cards lately where you see a lot of "white" space (or in my case "Blue" space) and then a concentrated area of the card is the focus with lots of "fun" stuff added. LOVE this! Let me share….
I started with Pacific Point Textured cardstock and used the Polka Dot Impression Folder on the card front. I added the First Edition DSP and a piece of the DSP from Playful Polka Dots Simply Scrappin' Kit. I love the DSP in this kit. Here is a peek:
I used the same sentiment from my last GRAD card called Happy Greeting. You will notice a small piece of the 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain ribbon under the sentiment. I used my Craft Scissors and carefully trimmed a thin piece of the ribbon to get the effect across the DSP. I love that Striped ribbon. Make sure you check the Last Chance list for the ribbon colors that are retiring. There are quite a few colors on that list. I used Pumpkin Pie for this particular card.
I hope your weekend has been filled with lots of great things.
XOXOXO
