Throwback Challenge- Flower Patch
It’s time for another “Throwback Challenge” and if you remember the challenge from last month when I told you it was the hardest challenge for me…. it’s a repeat this month.
WHOA. Seriously this rocks my creative brain. Do you have a challenge that you participate in that does this??
Of course the stamp set didn’t help. The Flower Patch stamp set always stumps me on a creative level. I don’t know why… it just does. You know me and flowers!
But wait….
Thinking positive always helps, right? Let’s start there.
Now let me share what I created and how this challenge works.
To start this challenge our team gives you a basket of toys that you can play with. These are the only toys you can use besides the Pantry items (see the list below). That’s it. Na Da more.
If you love a good challenge… THIS is it!
Flower Patch put to work…..
I started by just stamping the large flower image onto the Whisper White cardstock. Normally I would stamp it and then use the matching framelit to die cut it. BUT… that’s not on the list of toys to use. YIKES.
I put all the toys I could use in front of me and this is what I created.
To get the fun splatter I used my Aqua Painter and dabbed a bit of color onto the brush. I tapped the brush and Viola’!
I didn’t want to use the entire sentiment from this set so I just inked up the “awesomeness” and cut it out using my snips.
This card was definitely a challenge but I do love the end results.
Now it’s YOUR turn. Come play along with this challenge and see what the other design team has created. Click HERE to join in the fun. Be inspired and most of all go create and make something PRETTY!!
Here is a list of supplies I used for this project.
