This is Wicked Good!

This is Wicked Good!

Have you ever bought a stamp set with ONE image in mind? I mean you can see potential in many images of a stamp set but that ONE stamp is why you purchased it?

The word “Wicked” is what sold me on the new Project Life Seasonal Snapshot 2015 stamp set.  Dang that is a mouth full of words.  Good thing you didn’t have hear me say that.

Seriously, this stamp set has amazing images.  A cute sketched bat that I fell in love with.  The word “Gather” which I love… but the best one is WICKED.  Every time I see it or say it I can picture my New England friends.  In fact I can hear them.  I love how my New England friends talk and I think the word Wicked is there favorite word.

So of course I bought the set and instantly put this stamp set and the Howl-o-ween Treat stamp set together. Take a peek….

Seasonal Snapshot 2015, Howl-o-Ween Treat stamp set, Project Life,

Now if you are new to my blog… please bare with me.  I am kinda a little bit of a Halloween freak.  I love creating with Halloween images.  I don’t know why but these always rock my world and make me just giddy with delight.  Skulls, bones, witches, brooms, pumpkins… GIDDY!!  But hello…. WICKED and a WITCH hat???

Oh my word stinkin’ cauuuutttteeeee!

Seasonal Snapshot 2015, Howl-o-Ween Treat stamp set, Project Life,

The Seasonal Snapshot stamp set is a photopolymer stamp so it’s perfect for lining up and made my stamping easier to run the wicked greeting all the way down this card.

I also brought in some of  the Designer Series Paper Happy Haunting.  AHHHH… adorable.  This has fun images like ghosts, stars, plaid, webs… it’s really fantastic.

I also used a bit of the new Happy Haunting Designer Washi Tape.  Ummm… confession #578… I’m a WASHI hoarder.  Yes.  I. Am.

Raise your hand if you are too!

I could have used a lot more on this card but I’m afraid after just opening my pretty Washi tape I might run out.  (I swear the hoarding side of a crafter is an illness!)

So tell me… WHAT stamp set did you purchase from the new catalog because of ONE image? It was the main attraction for you.  Love at first sight!   Tell me in the comments.  I like a good chuckle now and then and together we might inspire others with that ONE image.

I’m off to become friends with my pillow.  I’ve neglected it since the kids started school.  I am pretty sure these people in my house forgot that I do like to sleep.  Anyone else with me? Is the back to school thing kicking your butt? OH MY WORD!!

Before I leave you…

Make sure to read my post from yesterday HERE.  I’m talking about making your crafting life easier, and filling your soul with a little crafty yumminess.  I also have a little challenge to help you get started.  Tell me how it’s going.  I would LOVE to hear.
