Take a Ride On My Pink Scooter!

My pink Scooter is so cute I want a real one.  I'm not sure the pink Scooter would be the safest vehicle in Northern Virginia.  As you can see I am pulling some of my Summer Mini stamp sets off the shelf and giving them a little dust off.  They were crying for attention.

The photo on this card is completely OFF.  I'll blame it on watching my nephew graduate over a live stream from Germany today.  I'll tell you ONE more time… He graduated as Valedictorian.  I am so PROUD. This was the most moving graduation I've ever seen.  All students are military dependents or their parent is a contractor in Germany.  Some of the parents that were not able to be there for the graduation because of deployments wrote letters to their child. My Brother in Law is one of them.  All I can say is I am MUSH today.  Just mush. I should tell Russ to buy stock in Kleenex!

Here is my outta focus card.

My pink Scooter comes from the stamp set On the Grow.  I love the sentiments in this stamp set! You can't really see it well on the first photo.  It says, "everyday is the perfect adventure".  I love that sentiment.  Life is such an adventure.

I water colored this on watercolor paper and used Watercolor Crayons.  I did pull the ole sewing machine out and sewed a zig zag stitch above the Scooter.  I also added a little Dazzling Diamonds to the Scooter.  I wanted it to be the coolest Scooter around.  The Tangerine Tango cardstock was embossed with the Flower Garden Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  First time I've used it and I really loved it.  It's beautiful.  I added a little Newsprint DSP under the Scooter and placed a Button to the side.  Very simple.  I did add a splash of color with my Spritzer Tool.

With the weekend in front of us, I hope you have time to stamp this weekend.  Make something that makes you happy. I'll see you!  Take a moment to check out my Online Store and browse the area for fun products.  Whatever you do this weekend, make it GREAT!

Big Congrats to your nephew!  What a fantastic achievement in what sounds like were some challenging times with his dad away.
P.S. I loved your post yesterday, I love that you share so much of the goodness in this world.

  3. OMG I love it, I don't  know if it's because the orange is my favorite color but I love it.
