If you remember from my post yesterday, I stated that Scandinavian Season stamp set was never my favorite in the beginning when the Holiday Mini Catalog came out. There was something about the tree that I couldn’t make work. Then it dawned on me! Embossing powder! It’s like a Band-Aid! It fixes everything! 🙂 I am now in love with this stamp set. One of my favorite colors to put with this set is Sage Shadow and Chocolate Chip. It makes this stamp look Shabby Chic or almost Vintage and delicate! Here are two fun projects I have done.
You can see in the close up picture that I gave this lots of layers. Honestly, this tree was not a "quickie" to make, but this is what makes me fall in love with stamping every day. When I can just PLAY!
Here is another fun project:
I used the Scandinavian Wheel and Autumn Vine DSP. Don’t you just love those silly mittens???? Oh, I do. They are SuPeR DuPeR cute. Again, I embossed and then came back and watercolored with Sage Shadow. ohhhh weeee!!!!
Oh, and you will have to excuse my BANNERS! It’s my new "Thang!"
Have a FABULOUS day!

Love the mittens! You’re right – the embossing powder does fix everything. I hadn’t been a fan of that set either, and I’m scandinavian…kind of! Jeannie
I love these Kimberly – and although this is still not a fave for me, I think you managed to make it look gawgeous!!! *STAMPIN HUGS* Alex
