Simple Yet WOW!

I just love vintage hot air balloons.  The colors, the tiny pennant flags put an instant smile on my face.  I was THRILLED to see the You're Amazing set carryover into the new catalog.  Seriously, it's one of my favorite stamp sets.  

I love how this stamp set creates a simple yet WOW effect for a card.  

For this card I stamped the balloon image using Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush and Smoky Slate ink.  

Then, using my Silhouette Cameo I imported the cloud stamp brush (SVG) from the A Year in Review Photobook & Template into the Silhouette and then had it cut from the Vellum.   SUPER easy.  

Tip: To hide the Mini Glue Dot adhesive on the vellum clouds I simply applied one of the Soft Subtles Candy Dots over the shadow of the Mini Glue Dots.   

Candy Dots are a great way to add fun texture to any of your projects.  These self adhesive little colorful dots can be applied on their own or you can adhere them to our special Candy Dots Brad Bases.  You can see I did this to one of the clouds on this card.
