Rockin’ my Girl’s world!

This weekend I rocked my little girls world by getting her birthday invitations completed.  As if trying to get Christmas cards completed, addressed, licked and mailed isn't enough… I added 10 more cards onto my list of to do's.  I admit that I rocked my own world because I actually got them done.  Yahooo! Now I have to figure out what we are doing for the party, address them, lick them and get them out the door too.  Jeesh!

Anyhoo- Alexis picked out the stamp set Grunge Rock #120555 to be used for the invites. I love this set.  It's screams little girl and I went to town. Funny how she "approved" the card design once I had it complete.  In years past that was never an issue.  The pains of growing up with a little Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and don't tell her she's NOT! <sigh>

Here is the design:

I used a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock for the base and the card size is Notecard- 5 x 7 folded in half.  I love this size.  I added my favorite DSP in the whole world (todays pick) called Love Letter and then the accents on top are from the Grunge Rock stamp set and the Broadsheet Alphabet.  Do you love that alphabet?  I used the Family Phrases stamp set #114960 for the "You're Invited."  Love this cute set.  Lots of punches were used.  You can never use to many!

I better get in the bed before I regret my lack of sleep in the morning.  Another busy day ahead.  Errands, kids parties at school and then I must get a little stamp therapy in.  I had none today as I was addressing all 200 of my Christmas cards.  They are going POSTAL tomorrow! Yippie!!!

  1. Lucky young lady to have such a talented and willing mom…am sure her party will be as great or better than the invite!
