Ready, Set, Snow!

Of course I hope this is not true! I know it’s going to be quite cold tomorrow here in Colorado, but I don’t think I have to worry about the white fluff for a bit.  I am sure my readers have really enjoyed me NOT whining about being cold this summer.  Here is your warning! This Florida girl is gearing up for the butt cold weather coming soon!

Let’s talk about this card!  Have you ever created a card where you just cannot stop adding things to it??  This card fits that catagory.  I couldn’t stop adding things to it.

The list of products I used is a mile long.  Let’s see if I can enlighten you! The stamp sets I used are: Seasonal Whimsy and Best Wishes & More.  I also used my Big Shot and cut two of the snowflakes.  I VersaMarked them and poured Irridescent Ice on them to give them a beautiful shimmer.  Behind the snowflakes I stamped the snowflake with Whisper White then used Irridescent Ice on them as well.  Now for the focal image I cut the hills out three times.  (This is where I started to go overboard.)  Then to make it worse I added Hodgepodge Hardware, ribbon and DSP.  Yikes!  Ultimately I do like the card.  It will probably be a hand delivered card as it weighs 100 lbs.

Here is a close up of the card.  You can see why it will weigh so much! Yikes!

  1. WOW! This gets me really excited to get my snowflake dies that I can use with my Big Shot. They are due to arrive on Monday and I can hardly wait . . . especially after seeing your card – it’s a beauty!!
