Paint Your Own Sunshine!
Sometimes let’s face it- we have to paint our own sunshine. Today is a gloomy day here on the Florida Panhandle and while I wish I was seeing sunshine, I can create it on my own- literally.
I pulled a stamp set I haven’t used in awhile called Ray of Sunshine. I love this set for the simple fact you can create your own sunshine. The fonts in the greetings are also pretty spectacular.
It’s bright and fun and hopefully will make someones birthday a bit brighter.
I used the Shine On Speciality Designer Paper and then die cut using the Sunburst Framelit. Love how creating the sunburst is SO easy now.
The sunburst die cut is matted onto a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock and then onto Tangelo Twist. I love the color of Tangelo Twist because it reminds me of a burnt orange color which reminds me of a Florida Sunset. They are pretty gorgeous.
This is all layered onto a piece of Hello Honey cardstock base.
The embellishments were kept simple using a piece of the Daffodil Delight cotton ribbon. Great for making bows and very thin. Love that.
The sequins came from a Project Life accessory kit. I love these sequins as they have a hexagon pattern to them.
If you need a bit of sunshine today, I hope this shines a ray or two. It’s going into my BIG birthday stack that I need to sit and address now. I’m on a roll. How about you?
