Well I have to say that yesterday was quite eventful. A nap was definitely not in my schedule because my little people kept me on my toes! There is just no time for rest!
There is nothing better than waking up to your Prince turning on the bright light in the bedroom with the look of crazy on his face telling you he cannot find his wallet.
Without a sip of coffee I gazed around the house, went out in the rain to his truck and then lifted every cushion possible looking for it.
After 20 minutes of searching he found it…. in a drawer… where he last put it.
I thank God every day there are some things this man CANNOT lose.
The Prince went off to work when I heard Brandon and his terrible cough. He was feverish and this cough was on day 4 of sounding awful. This morning it sounded really awful. I kept him home and off to the Dr. we went. He has Pneumonia!! *banging my head!*
Seriously…. I wonder sometimes! I felt terrible I did not bring him in sooner. The nurse in me said it's viral. It will pass. Nope. Pneumonia. Chalk it up to another parental award for me. He will be resting with me over the next few days.
I did have a light bulb moment this afternoon. I think I know why I am so tired. Two words—> Wife & Mother!
There was a very bright spot in my evening. While everyone was resting (except me) I blew the dust off my stamp table.
I know! I KNOW!!
I pulled out many fun tools for this little thank you card.
I love the way the Paper Doilies look embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. It heats FAST too.
The natural buttons and the Burlap Ribbon just go hand in hand. I am in love with the new Photopolymer Another Thank You stamp set. Goodness… the fonts are fantastic and the stamping is precision all the time. You can see all the supplies below.

You may notice a little gold sequins… that is just a little sneak peek of what is to come. I hate to tease but the sequins are too fun not to use. I just had to do it.
I also used the Truly Grateful stamp set. This card describes my sentiments to you my readers EXACTLY. I'm truly grateful for you and a HUGE thanks for all your uplifting comments. I so appreciate them!!
With Thanksgiving just around the corner I thougth I would take you back to some of my favorite Thanksgiving projects that you could duplicate for this year.

Your life has truly been in a great funk!! Hoping it all settles down quickly and you start getting that much needed rest! Wonderful story about the prince…men just don't know how to look…and you are truly the Queen going out in the rain!!! Poor Brandon…do not feel guilty….you are a fab mom and wife, with waayyyy too much on her plate since this last move, and then to be hit with menopause!! This too shall pass…. At least you found your Stampin mojo…fabulous card!! Deep breaths and march on!
I agree with Carol, you are a wonderful wife and mother. Sometimes life does take a toll on us but it gets better. Don't feel bad Kimberly, I am always so tired myself. I went through that peri stage and it's no fun but you will get through it. 🙂
Kim, prayers for you and your family! Wishes for a speedy recovery for your son, and your hubby! Max filled the Pals in with a prayer request, many many prayers sent your way! May you find strength in your family! Hugs to the four of you!
Praying for you!
