Happy Monday! Not sure where my weekend vanished to but I know it was fast, furious and F.U.N!
My girlfriend has been here with me the last 10 days and we have been creating MACHINES. 32 projects completed. 4 of the 32 projects were HUGE. I'll be sharing, no worries. Let's just say we had a lot of fun with Dress Forms, Chalk Art, Card Creations, MDS and completely OUT of the BOX ideas. I had another girlfriend drive in from Virginia Beach on Thursday and one came up Saturday for non-stop crafting. I can speak for all of us that we are POOPED out but this fed our souls completely. We even had a 2 hour MDS class on Saturday.
Back to the Monday madness… My Digital Studio- Freeform!
Today's challenge is using the Freeform Tool. I've said this before, I don't use this tool a lot and I challenged myself to play with it a little more. You can do so many great things with this tool.
For the layout above I used the Freeform Tool to make a nice zigzag stitch in two areas.
Tip: I selected the freeform zigzag and then copy and pasted to get my desired length. What I love is when I choose a color using this method for a zigzag stitch my colors are more vivid than using a stitching stamp brush.

When I chose my photos for this layout Alexis gymnastics uniform was a brillian blue. Not a color that I normally work with and it wasn't working with any of the patterns I was liking. I decided to make it easy on myself and just change the photos to Black & White. Once I changed the photo the layout was much easier to work with.
