Fun with Fan Fair Designer Series Paper!

I've been so excited about the new products Stampin' Up! has been introducing that I almost forgot about one of my favorites patterns I love to use.  Fan Fair!  It's filled with incredible images. 

This card has very little stamping on it and really utilizes the pattern paper to the extreme. One of the pattern pieces has elements that you can cut out.  Typically this does not get me doing cartwheels in my stamp room, except for today.  I started cutting up the pattern images and noticed I was singing at the same time.  Maybe it was the cool map? Remember THIS post when I talked about how trendy maps are? 

Now before you think I had to hand cut all this… wait just a second.  No WAY Jose'! I used my 2 1/2" Circle punch for the Globe and the grid image with typewriter was a straight cut with my paper trimmer. SUPER easy. 

I couldn't live without a doily. It needed a little sponging with my Crumb Cake ink.  It made it dirty and vintage looking and made me sing louder. 

Around the globe I wanted to add my favorite trims.  The natural trim along with the Victoroia Lace was a perfect match.  I stapled them to the globe and then added one of my sweet little Vintage Trinket safety pins with some Island Indigo Bakers Twine attached. Oh MY WORD! 

The last touch to this card was a spray or two of my favorite smooch sprays- Gold Glow and Kimberly's Primrose Smooch.  

*Tip: Kimberly's Primrose Smooch is made using 70% Rubbing Alcohol, Primrose Reinker & Frost White Shimmer Paint.  Just add the drops of Shimmer Paint and Primrose Reinker to the Alcohol until you get the desired color.  Since Primrose is pretty light in color I add a lot of reinker to get the color I wanted.  The 70% Rubbing Alcohol dries QUICK . Just make sure you ventilate the room are you may get a little dizzy like myself.
