As I am getting ready for an exciting event this weekend, I wanted to have some samples of birthday cards using our awesome Birthday stamps that are on sale this month. My display boards are looking very beautiful with tons of swaps from Convention and the beautiful swaps I received from Founders. I believe those that attend my Cards for a Cure on Saturday are in for a REAL treat when they see all the amazing samples at their finger tips not to mention the AWESOME projects we have ready for them. I am so excited!!!
Okay, so my oversized bow kinda got in the way in this picture, however you can get the idea. I love that oversize bow because I love that RIBBON!! This is a 3×6 card and I stamped using the Time to Party stamp set. I stamped the image with Rose Red ink onto Whisper White cardstock and then inked it again with VersaMark. Then I put some bling on it using Iridescent Ice. (love that stuff)! I placed this piece of cardstock on the Rose Red cardstock and then punched a piece of Pink Pirouette using the Square Scallop punch and placed this piece over the Rose Red cardstock using dimensionals. Then the big bow came into the picture. LOL! Oh, I almost forgot to mention I used the Cupcakes Wheel on the Pink Pirouette cardstock. I think this would be a great girlie birthday card.
This is what I call the Super Size cupcake. It’s HUGE! Once again I used the Iridescent Ice on the top puffy part of the cupcake (the best part if you ask me!). I used Sweet Always Designer Series Paper for the bottom portion of the card. I think this card has some fun colors. Pixie Pink, Pumpkin Pie and how in the world could I forget the lovely Kraft cardstock??
I hope you have enjoyed these birthday treats this week. I am itching to play with all my Holiday Mini stuff.
Have a great FRIDAY!!
