While my stamping mojo might be a little depleted I was able to snap out a few monster cards using the new Monstermaniacs stamp set #134972.
Typically I'm not a big stamper in the early morning hours. However, I've had terrible allergies issues this week and find myself flat asleep on my couch every night by 10pm. It's AWFUL!! I love to stamp at night. What is happening to me?
The kids have a busy weekend of birthday's and both asked for handstamped cards. Like I could argue?
I bought this set a few weeks ago and I knew it would come in handy for the kids. Lookie here… it sure did.
I haven't watercolored in FOREVAH! I sure have missed it.
Tip: To make watercoloring a little easier for a small image such as this I used Basic Black craft ink and clear embossing powder. Once embossed, I colored the image using my Blender Pen and Wild Wasbi ink. I love how it turned out.
To make the image pop a little more I did a little paper piecing with a stamp set from the Everyday Occasions Kit. *L*o*V*e this kit. This is where the Happy Birthday image came from. Super cute image and those little banners across it are adorable.
I couldn't leave Alexis out for her birthday friend so I chose the same set just a different image. I used a few sets to make this card come together. You can see the supply list below.
I loved making a little banner for this monster. Looks like she is holding it up.
I don't know about you but I'm looking forward to a weekend I can put ink to paper. The kids have all kinds of plans without Russ and I. I think it would be great to enjoy a little crafty time.
Make sure to check out the Clearance Rack and weekly specials. There are great things you do not want to miss.

So glad to see you creating cards again! Love these monster cards! Some stamping time this weekend sounds like a great idea.
They are both so cute, love the pink 🙂
Kimberly – these are awesome! I would say you found your mojo after all! Leave it to our kids to help us find it, eh?
Oh, these are wonderful cards – they look great watercoloured!
