Howdy Ya’ll- Yee Haw Stamp Set

Good Tuesday morning.  Lots of great things to share and taking a day off from holiday cards.  Hope you don’t mind.  As much as I love this season and as much as I love creating projects with holiday sets, sometimes I need a breather in between.  

I thought I would share a fun card today using the Yee Haw stamp set. I love this set mainly because of the “Southern” twang I hear when saying the greetings.  It’s rare you see the word Ya’LL or Y’all in a stamp set.  Do you hear that Ya’ll?? 

Let me share my Rootin’ Tootin’ card…  

I used Blendabilities on this card to color the Sheriff’s badge. Love how it stands out.  

Stampin’ Tips: 
I stamped the Sheriff’s badge twice.  I colored one with Crumb Cake Blendabilities and the second image was used to layer the colored Badge.  I wanted the banner in the center to stand out.  

To create the polka dots I used the Dots & Stripes Decorative Masks.  Using a sponge dauber and Crumb Cake ink I gently sponged over the Whisper White cardstock.  Once sponged I stamped the stars from the Yee-Haw stamp set in Early Espresso ink.  

I’m excited to give this cowgirl birthday card to someone.  It’s still frilly, but so fun.
