Hello Honey- Stampin’ Up! New In Color

Hello Honey- Stampin’ Up! New In Color

Just the name of the this NEW In Color makes me happy!  I feel like Stampin’ Up! went a little Southern on me.  In the south everyone is “Honey!”

With this color making it’s debut, it made saying goodbye to Summer Starfruit a little easier.  I love this new color.  Honestly, it’s the color of my Piano room.  It’s very rich in color.

When introducing a new In color my biggest challenge is searching for ideas on what colors will coordinate with it.  Below are a few ideas on colors that would work with our new Hello Honey-Stampin’ Up! New In Color.

You could also keep the color tones close to a monochromatic look where it’s all the same colors but maybe a darker shade or lighter shades.  I did add a pop of color with the Basic Black.

  1. Love Hello Honey! Love this card! One question, what did you do to get the Honey thread?
    Thanks!

  2. I love this color and although I don’t like the idea of ‘in colors,’ this is one that I will be buying. I can see it going well with the new purply color – can’t think of the name but it will match that well, also navy. Maybe Elegant Eggplant too. I think you really set it off with the black and gold you used on this card!

great ideas for using the new in colors….your card is wonderful… I made a card recently making a sort of piece of honey comb using a retired color…need to update it with the new Hello Honey – thank you for the inspiration!
