Have You Caught the Spirit Yet?
Yes, have you caught the Christmas spirit?
Where has our year gone? I can’t believe how fast time seems to be flying past my eyeballs. One minute I was freezing because of the coldest wi
nter in Florida, then the next I’m sweating just sitting on the porch outside. Now I’m bring Christmas up??
Today my goal is to get you in the Christmas spirit!!
Let’s face it… if you are a procrastinator such as myself you typically do not even THINK of creating your Christmas cards until November or December 1st. Yes, this is totally my norm. Then once I start them I’m in PANIC mode. The ideas I had are gone. I sit there looking at a blank canvas thinking where do I start. The creativity is gone and now not only am I panicked, I’m anxiety ridden.
I vow every year this dreaded panic does not set in. I vow not to procrastinate. I vow to do 10 cards a week to start my pile.
Does this describe anyone of you? Please tell me I’m not alone.
Last year due to Russ being in the hospital I didn’t send one card. We received the most beautiful cards I’d ever seen from all over the world from my stampin’ sisters. They are treasured cards for Russ and I. We often look through them for encouragement.
This year, I vow to be the voice of encouragement that so many gave us last year. To send a card not just wishing them a happy Christmas time but encouragement for the entire year. Encouragement to get up in the morning and be thankful. Encouragement to smile and pay it forward to others who may be struggling.
God wants us to encourage and love each other every day. That’s exactly what I’m going to do this year with my Christmas cards.
Yes, I’ll wish each and every one a VERY Merry Christmas but I’ll also add a little encouragement of why I love them so much. Why I think they are so special to me.
If you haven’t caught the spirit yet, today I hope you do.
Can you see this grabbing the spirit of someone. A cozy little home with delicate trims. It’s just that… COZY.
The Holiday Home stamp set is adorable. The best part is the matching framelits, Homemade Holiday. Stamp a home, color and die cut the home.
Another beautiful part of this little set is the images that can make a FULL scene of many holidays. YES. Think Fall, Halloween and Christmas.
If you love to watercolor, this is a perfect set to soothe the watercolorists soul. Blendabilities or our amazing Markers and a Blender Pen would be perfect.
You can see all of the supplies I used for this card below with links to the products.
Have you caught the spirit? If not, I encourage you to get your Holiday stamps out and start creating. Let’s share the love and be encouraging during this amazing season.

Thanks for making my day great lady!!! XOXO
So many adorable little details – love it.
Good grief! We must be related! Embarrassingly enough, last year I did not give any Christmas cards to my family. None! No time! I have matured so much since last year! This year, I am starting Halloween early, finishing early, and because of the new Stampin Up Holiday catalogue, I cannot wait to get started on Christmas! It’s going to be different this year, I know it is!!
Love, love, love your card Kimberly! I will be casing you for sure!
Lucky recipients on your Christmas card list!!! I love this card and can’t wait for some serious crafting time coming my way after this weekend 🙂
