What a beautiful day it is! Easter blessings to all of you!
Our day will be filled with a church morning service and then time spent with family and an egg hunt. I can barely contain my excitement. When I sit back and look at what this day means to me I stand in awe. God is amazing.
I’m excited to spend it with my family. Each holiday that comes I have to pinch myself that we are here to celebrate with them and we don’t have a long ride home. That’s good stuff!!
However you are spending your Easter Sunday I hope it’s a great one, filled with good stuff and a blessing. You, my readers are a blessing to me.
I have two fun shares that are Easter related today. Sadly I didn’t create as much as I wanted for Easter. I did create the following two pieces and I’m still in the process of working on something for Brandon.
Because I lacked a sense of time… I decided to pull out my Silhouette Cameo and let my awesome machine do the work for me. I created this bag from a cut file I downloaded from the Silhouette store. I used all Stampin’ Up! supplies to embellish this paper bag. I plan to fill this with a gift card for Alexis for Easter.
Although there is not a lot of stamping on this piece I love how the Off the Grid stamp set added even more texture to the front of the bag.
I kept this bunny pretty plain but loved using the Modern Mosaic Textured Embossing Folder to add more texture to him. I did add a little sponging around the edges so that Mr. Bunny popped a little more from the pattern papers. You can see the supplies used below. Click on the links and you can purchase directly.
My next project is a little cone that I can fill with candy goodies for my mom.
I started with an 8 x 8 piece of Designer Series Paper and made the cone. I kept the bottom of the opening slightly opened so I could hang the bunny from linen thread.
The top portion of the cone I used paper doilies inside the cone along with a piece of wax paper that is slightly ripped and crinkled around the cone. I also used a pennant banner cut file to add a little more fun around the edge of the cone. The “Hello” is cut from the Silhouette and attached to the Pennant using Mini Glue Dots. I loved how cute this bunny is. I added the fun White Fluff ball to his tail. Squeal. Isn’t that fun? I simply poked a hole into the upper side of his body and strung the Bakers Twine through. Super easy. You can see all the products I used in the links below.
Again, I hope you have a wonderful day filled with many Easter Blessings!!
XOXOXO
