Sometimes You Have to be Dino-rrific!
Dino-rrific! YES! I love this word.
I’m not sure it’s urban enough language for my teens as I run around telling them they’re Dino-rrific… but it sure does sound fun.
Let’s Speak the Truth
So the truth is I didn’t have any “kid” birthday cards hanging around and I have only played with my No Bones about It stamp set but once. It was time to get dino-rrific.
I’m cracking myself up…
No Bones about It
Can pink dinosaurs be any cuter?
This pink dinosaur made me incredibly happy and nothing says girlie than adding a few frilly things like a doily or two.
The new 2016-2018 In Color Designer Series Paper stack was the perfect addition for this card with coordinating polka dots on Vellum cardstock using the Large Polka Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
Add a Pop of Color
I added a teensy bit of Cucumber Crush that totally pops against the Flirty Flamingo. SO pretty and SO girly.
For the Boys
A little change in color and a fun pattern paper from the By the Shore Designer Series Paper and you can make a dino-riffic card for any little boy.
Once again I’ve mixed the Cucumber Crush with the new Dapper Denim In Color and it’s AMAZING.
Honestly, both of the these cards remind me of something I use to call “preppy!” Something that should have an alligator somewhere on it. Is this bringing back any memories for anyone else?
Okay… back to dinosaurs!
I added the leaves from the Botanical Builder Framelits and Botanical Blooms stamp set. Oh my! I love how this looked perfect for a boy.
Both cards have one of my favorite embellishments I cannot stop using… Enamel Shapes. They are the perfect embellishment for a little pizzaz to any card.
