I've been a busy bee here at my house. Trying to catch up after Leadership and then it seemed my kids had nine million things on their schedule to keep me busy too. Another great thing keeping me busy was my own business. Love when it gets busy. That means I am busy creating away so I can teach my new friends a few tricks they can do with their stamps. It really is a great feeling.
Here are a few things I shared at Leadership and then another card that was created for Valentines Day. I am almost done getting all my Valentine cards ready. Are you? Valentines Day sneaks up FAST! It's one of my favorite holidays.
This first picture stinks. My camera and I are having a disagreement! Bare with me.
Much better color on this picture. I used the Table Setting Die Cut and I love this Die Cut to make Banners as well. The stamping on the actual Die Cut used the Bliss stamp set from the Sale-a-Bration catalog. It's a BEAUTIFUL stamp set and I love it. I feel like it just stays on my desk and it's used for EVERYTHING. I also used the You're a Gem stamp set. "Enjoy and Queen" are actually two different images and I used my Stampin' Write Marker to ink them and stamped them perfectly using the GREATEST tool in the world: The Stamp-a-ma-jig! It's a must have for any stampers stamp room. Anyways, this is a GREAT set. Works perfect with the Trinkets.
This next project is really one that I have fallen in love with. I love this new die cut in the Occasions Mini-Petal Cone Die. There are plenty of fun uses for this die and So MANY stamp sets you can pair it with. For this particular cone I used the Clearly for You stamp set. Did I tell you how AMAZING this stamp set is? LOVE IT. The For You is a sentiment I used from Say It Simply stamp set (122324) and it only comes in WOOD. You can find that stamp set on page 41 of the mini. There are two sentiments that come with the stamp set. Perfect. I added the Crumb Cake Seam Binding which I am currently having a love affair with. It has to be one of the best ribbons. You know how much I love taffeta ribbon and this ribbon is about the same but better. You can crinkle it and make it look really vintage and beautiful. I used my Color Spritzer Tool on the tag as well. Fun project. I have a few more projects I will show you soon with the Petal Cone. I think you will want to add this to your DIE CUT library.
Last is a quick Valentine Card:
It's a pretty quick card using the Love Impressions DSP-121780 and the stamp set Valentine Defined-123057 clear or 121941 wood. I really like this set.
Today is another snow day here in my area. One is GREAT, Two is OVERBOARD! My kids are looking at me as if I need to entertain them because they are bored. Hmmm…. I think I have a few household things for them to do. Typically when I show them the Toilet Brush they run quickly and magically find "something" to do. Looks like I need to find that brush!
Enjoy today!
XOXOXO
