That's what I keep telling my kids! Just blow kisses-otherwise I am going to get SICK! Uh hum! Guess what? They love blowing kisses except when it comes to bedtime! Alexis told me NO way was she blowing kisses at bedtime. It has to be the real deal. How can you resist those words? My giving in leads to- MAMA is sick again. The last two days I did manage to help my Prince get the Christmas decorations down but otherwise I was laying low with sniffles and coughing. It's the same thing my kids cannot seem to get rid of. UGH!
New Years Eve the Prince and I showed our age by laying in our recliners, our blankets over us watching some Pawn Shop show and some guy picking through peoples "treasures!" I ate an entire jar of peanuts and as soon as the stroke of midnight came I was in my bed. L-A-Z-Y! Oh well.
As far as New Year's resolutions- I made them. I am not sure how well I will stick to them. Not that I won't try but there are a few obstacles coming our way this year. I'll discuss more in the next few days along with my resolutions. <sigh>
Did you get everything you wanted from the Holiday Mini Catalog? Today is the last day to get the must haves. You can click on my Online store or Email me your order.
Tonight I have a few sneak peeks and something out of the Holiday Mini Catalog. The set I used is from the Filled with Love stamp set and also part of a great Bundle Special you can see to your left.
Oh my WORD! Melon Mambo Pom Pom ribbon? Love it. It's new and fun. I used my little sewing machine and stitched it onto the Crumb Cake cardstock. I also hand stitched the NEW Melon Mambo button in the center of the "O". This Mini brings lots of beautiful Designer Papers and embellishments that coordinate so well with our stamp sets. They are SUPAH!
I stamped onto the Crumb Cake cardstock using Whisper White Craft ink. Love that look.
This next card is a first for me. I am not a big fan of any type of yellow. I have barely used the Daffodil Delight cardstock I own. I challenged myself to use it and I am so glad I did. I really like this soft yellow cardstock. Who knew?
This card has lots of elements! I used the new Jumbo Wheel "In Stitches" and some Daffodil Delight Pom Pom ribbon. You will notice I used the same stamp set as the first card above. I found this color combination by using my Color Coach. I love that thing.
There ya have it. Time for me to get to bed. Kids are back to school tomorrow, the Prince is back to work and I will be here sneezing and coughing.
Smooches!
