Birthday Blitz
It’s time for a birthday blitz which means Kimberly needed to get cracking on making some birthday cards.
Ya’ll, I’m on FIYAH with the birthday cards. The only bad thing is I have not one single birthday card in my stash. H E L L O…. we have a problem.
Tonight I designed a card and started the mass production line and I’m SUPER excited to tell you I had these done in 1 hour and 30 minutes. 8 cards. Done.
Gift from the Garden
I went a little overboard with the stamp sets I used. I couldn’t keep it to one. I ended up using three. The main set I used was the Gift From the Garden. What a cute set this is and it’s been sitting on my shelf dying to be used.
The rain boots are adorable and I love the greetings.
I used one of the free Sale-a-Bration products Wildflower Fields Designer Paper. You can receive this free with a qualifying order of $50. This is beautiful paper with lots of great designs.
This is the one I used for this project-
I also used the Timeless Textures stamp set (BEST STAMP SET EVER) to add texture on the Whisper White cardstock where the boots would hang over. While you can barely see it, I still love it. Of course any bit of texture on a card and I’m swooning over it.
I also used the Handpicked Framelits which have “gardening” written all over them. I die cut these tags using Basic Black cardstock and then used the Sprinkles of Life stamp set for the Happy Birthday image. It fit perfectly. I layered the Handpicked framelits to add a bit more flare. I probably could have saved my arm muscles and placed only one but I really like how it came out.
Did You Know?
Did you know that the Sprinkles of Life stamp set is our exclusive Ronald McDonald House stamp set? Oh it’s darling and here is the BEST part- for every set purchased, Stampin’ Up! donates $3 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. YES! Isn’t that amazing? This set has a ton of versatility. Ice cream cones, cupcakes, clouds, trees… and lets not forget the cutest bird too.
I couldn’t help but add some fun ribbon to my birthday card. I loved the burlap ribbon for this card because it went well with the gardening theme.
Lastly, I embellished the card using the It’s My Party Enamel Dots and the White Perfect Accents.
You can see all the supplies used for this card below in the clickable links.
