Be Inspired- Stampin’ Up! Convention
I have so much to tell you from the Stampin’ Up! convention! I’m having an amazing time. Yes, I’m STILL here. I’m spending an extra few days with my bestie to relax and boy oh boy are WE!!
This convention might go down as the BEST convention I’ve attended. I felt like the Stampin’ Up! staff spoke to my soul during their presentations. They were filled with raw emotion, heartfelt and of course so much creative inspiration. Then our leaders meeting on Saturday I heard the best speaker I’ve heard in a long time. It was exactly what I needed to hear- taking care of myself. WOW.
I’m going to share over the next few days because I would overwhelm you in a Mississippi minute if I shared it all.
One thing I kept under wraps until it happened was presenting on the Main Stage.
I had to share my family. This picture CRACKS me up. I really do love my family! <giggle>
My presentation was on Project Life and I shared an album that I taught at a Scrapbooking Crop this past spring. I loved sharing this album as it’s one of my favorites.
Here are a few snippets of the album. I’ll share a few more detailed pieces later. If you have not tried Project Life by Stampin’ Up!, you should. What a fun and easy way to scrapbook. The photo below is the cover of my Project Life album.
This picture below is a a fun bag that we created for the album. I love how you can add fun stuff like this to an album. Great for keeping receipts or fun memorabilia.
Thursday night was awards night. What an awesome SURPRISING night!
I earned the prestigious Founders Circle award. WOWSA. After the end of my year I wasn’t sure that could even happen. I was so surprised and SO SO grateful as this will be the last Founders Circle with some of the upcoming changes that Stampin’ Up! will put in place this come October. While I’m sad to see this great event go away, I know that Stampin’ Up! will have other great things to come. It’s how they roll. <smile>
I am SO thankful my friend Dawn caught this picture.
I’m even more thankful for this picture….
Dawn is in my downline and has worked her tail off this past year. She earned the Incentive Trip and Founders Circle. I am SO excited to spend Founders Circle with her. Isn’t she the cutest?? A HUGE congratulations to her.
My team went out to dinner on Saturday night. We had so much fun although we were missing many of our team members this year. The selfie stick was a dream.
Once convention was over it was time to chill out the next few days with my bestie. I’m not sure we’ve chilled out. We have laughed until we cried and shopped until we dropped.
Believe it or not… I made swaps too. My sweet girl was SO helpful before I left. She did the tedious rhinestone job. I can’t believe this girl is growing up so fast. She was only 4 months old when I started Stampin’ Up!
Here is one of my swaps I created.
This swap was for an organized swap with the Convention Display stampers from last year. I loved that we swapped together this year. They are AMAZING artists and fantastic cards.
I used the Be the Star stamp set.
I’m in LOVE with the Mint Macaroon In Color. SO pretty.
I used Blushing Bride ink for the greeting. Love these colors together.
I’ll be sharing more convention fun. Keep your eyes peeled.
You can see all the supplies for this card below.
Have an awesome day and thank you always for taking time out to read my blog.
XOXOXO

SO glad you got to enjoy and renew yourself. When I am having a hard time emotionally I find it really helps to just sit down and create (once I pry myself off the couch, that is.). Thank you for your inspiration!
Hi Kimberly–congratulations on being a presenter at convention and for being nominated to The Founder’s Circle! I am enjoying seeing more blog posts from you–I LOVE your posts! Your cards are so creative and I just find so much inspiration and motivation from reading your blog. You speak from the heart! I have been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator for almost 10 years and recently started my own blog. It takes a lot of time and dedication to maintain a blog, much more than I thought, so I just want you to know that I appreciate all of the care and time you put in to your blog posts. Keep them coming, because I LOVE your style! You can check out my blog at: http://www.madebythec.com
