Stampin' Up!, Be Inspired

This first card was created by my friend Amy Celona.  I love the Gorgeous Grunge paired with the Creative Elements stamp set.  Plus the colors are just beautiful.

Stampin' Up!, Be Inspired

This beautiful card was created by Rosemarrie Gonzalez. The Giggle Greetings stamp set is sure to make someone giggle with the quirky greetings.  I love the Linen Thread on the little clip and paired with the Gingham Garden DSP was perfect.  It looks like the image sits on a tablecloth.

Stampin' Up!, Be Inspired

I love this card Dawn Bourgette created using one of my favorite designer papers- Eastern Elegance.  I love how she layered all the elements and stamped on the Cotton Ribbon.  The elements are pefectly placed for a shabby chic look.

Stampin' Up!, Be Inspired

I believe this card was made from my friend Tiffany Bauer. ???  Washi Tape and the Flower Shop stamp set.  Oh I love his flower set. I'm not a big flower fan but I love this card because it coordinates with the Pansy Punch and makes stamping fast and fun.  NO cutting.  I love how bright and cheerful this card is.   The last detail on this card is what I just fell in love with… the random rhinestones. BEE-utiful!

Stampin' Up!, Be Inspired

Vicki Wu created this beauty with this FANTASTIC stamp set Beautifully Baroque.  She also used my favorite Designer Paper Eastern Elegance.  This card just jumps at me with it's elegance.

Lastly, Tracy Geisz made this card above.  Gorgeous watercoloring and I loved the colors she used.  She used the Secret Garden stamp set and this card is just stunning.  The beauty of this stamp set is the matching framelit (Secret Garden) that coordinates with it.

Thank you to these ladies for swapping with me.  They are just beautiful! Be inspired & create.  I'd love to hear what you think about these cards too.

Today  the big truck is loading all of our precious cargo.  We are almost ready to exit Virginia and head home to Flordia.

Today was a rough day of goodbyes.  It's the hardest part of moving.  The hardest today was seeing Alexis say goodbye to her besties.  She handled it WAY better than I did.

We have also been a little emotional today over one of our beloved pets.  My sweet kitty Shelby has not been well for awhile. We sat the kids down and talked about our options.  Shelby is 16 and her quality of life just isn't what it use to be.  We will take her to the vet to be put down today.  Not what we needed during this move, but I know she would not make the drive. Our hearts are broken as a part of our family leaves us.

Shelby

  1. Praying for you and your family during your move and the grieving you are experiencing losing a family member like your sweet kitty Shelby.  Praying for strength and peace as you make the trip, and that nothing gets broken on the way.  Stay Healthy and have a safe trip and move.  Praying it goes smoothly.  Hugs.

  2. Good luck on your move!  Looking forward to seeing you up & creating again.  Sorry to hear about your kitty – for sure not what you needed on moving day, but good for you for being so compassionate & doing what's best for her & not you.  Back to the SEA!!!!

  3. So sorry for the loss of your Shelby, it's so hard to say good-bye to them.  Stay safe on your drive to Florida!  All of the cards are wonderful, tfs.

  4. Kimberly – I'm sad about your poor kitty pet.  We had to put down our beloved golden retriever Tori a couple months back.  We still talk to her and I'm sure you will to your sweet pet too.  But… On to the new adventure!  I can't believe you are still blogging during all this move stuff.  Thanks for the nice card posts.  I've pinned a bunch!

  5. Thank you for all you do!  You are truly a motivator!  Have a safe journey to your new home.

  6. Thinking of you and your family.  It's never easy to leave a pet, leave your friends, pack up a house, move a house….you are doing a great job lady!  xoxoxo

  7. I'm so sorry for your loss.  We had to put our cat down on 7/24.  She was 22.  Amazing for a cat.  My heart is still broken.  I miss her so much.

  8. KImberly I am so sorry for your loss. Maybe the move will keep the kids distracted and they won't be thinking too much about it. Wishing you all the luck in the world in your new move…It will be great to be close to family. Looking forward to all your stories. Remember keep us posted and keep those photos coming.

    Inky Hugs,

    Terry~~
