Basket of Wishes
Welcome to another Artisan Blog Hop.
Get ready for loads of sharing and one of the stamp sets on tap is the Basket of Wishes.
Calling All Watercoloring Enthusiasts
If you love to watercolor, Basket of Wishes stamp set will be one to have.
Look at the 4 gorgeous images that fit into the baskets. My favorite is the succulents.
They worked perfect for placing in the big basket.
Tips & Tricks
- Stamp the basket and succulents onto Watercolor Paper, then die cut using the Tags & Labels Framelits.
- Use the Layering Squares Framelits to create frames. This fun scallop frame was the perfect addition using the Copper Foil Sheets.
- Stamp and emboss the greeting using Copper Embossing Powder, then separate the greeting and add to card.
Add a small strip of a scallop border under the designer paper (Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper) to bring out more of the copper.
Watercolor the succulents using the following inks:
- Cucumber Crush
- Pool Party
- Mint Macaron
Another Take On Basket of Wishes
While strawberry’s may be more of a springtime fruit, it goes to show you how versatile the Basket of Wishes stamp set is.
Think about this set as a year round stamp set that can be used anytime and perfect for birthday celebrations.
Tips & Tricks
- A perfect embellishment for this stamp set is the 5/8″ Burlap ribbon.
- Stamp the baskets and strawberry’s on Watercolor Paper die cut using the Lots of Labels Framelits.
- Create a mask using a post it note to set the strawberry’s perfectly into the basket with no line showing. Color the strawberry’s using Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush ink with a hint of Emerald Envy ink to highlight the leaves.
- Add a few of the White Perfect Accents for an added embellishment.

Gasp, that top card! So much love for everything on that!
Kimberly, these cards are adorable. I love the tag on the first card…the bow placed on an unexpected place is perfect!
I really thought I did not need this set. Really. You have most certainly changed my mind!!
What a great idea to stamp the strawberry baskets in a rainbow like that! I love both of the cards!
Oh my goodness, both cards are absolutely beautiful. Love them.
Lovely cards, loving the use of the Square frames… those framelits keep calling to me
