Sounds like I’m over here doing a cheerleading skit. Oh how fun that would be… or maybe not.
Did you know I was a cheerleader back in the day? Can you see me with ginormous hair and blue eye shadow? I’m pretty sure that was the look at that time. I was the “Mall Bunny” hair girl and I thought I was HOT. Looking back… not so much. Oh the memories.
So cheerleading has nothing to do with my post and you are probably thinking, Thank You! HA HA HA HA
Instead I’m talking about the Cheer All Year stamp set.
This is the set I chose to create my swap card for Founders circle. You might remember my picture I posted with the 110 bats I needed to cut out. I’m notorious for choosing a stamp set that has NO matching framelit because I think it’s cute. The thing was, it was seriously cute and I loved the bat in the set. Then around bat #50 I was re-thinking my swap. I was cutting bats everywhere- in the car, Starbucks, meetings… if I was sitting I was cutting.
The great thing was I had most of the card designed. I only needed more bats.
You can see that the bat is pretty clean to cut around so really it wasn’t too fussy to cut. Isn’t it the cutest thing?
It All Coordinates!
As I was designing this card I loved how everything coordinated. I used the Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper, the Happy Haunting Washi Tape (which goes a long way!) and then the Black Glimmer Paper. How fun is the bat paper to match the bat stamp?? I loved it.
Overall this is a clean and simple card. I attached a small banner using the Washi Label punch at the top. It’s kept in place using a staple.
I know Halloween is not for everyone but this girl is in LOVE with the Halloween stuff this year.
Check out this gorgeous Witches hat…

I’m excited I will be having a local class to put this together the first weeks of October. I’ll be announcing the date soon and seats are VERY limited. We will be making a killer banner to go with this too.
