Paper Flower Video Tutorial!

Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Kimberly Van Diepen

Finally! Time to share one of my favorite new projects. I shared these at Leadership….

I know I am terribly late for this video! I said weeks ago it would be available. The truth of the matter is I'm always coughing and sniffling with allergies. The video just wouldn't have sounded pretty! Not that this one does- I'm laughing at myself in the video! *giggle*

I am SO excited to share these with you. I LOVE making these little cuties. They are fast and fun and YOU can totally make these gems.

Here is a close up view:

I don't think my Prince will wear this to work on his uniform however it will be part of the last gift for Valentines. Bwhahahaha!

Here is the project from the video all finished and still a little "Jacked-Up!" This is lingo from my 9 year old that means it was a mess! Seriously, I cannot stamp and video at the same time. Hence the giggles on the video. I crack myself up!

While it may be Jacked-Up, I think I saved it. <sigh>

Here is the Ginormous one…

You will notice this poor thing didn't come home in perfect condition from Leadership. It was pretty banged up. I tried to fix it the best I could. I think you can still get the idea. Next time maybe I'll have one of those genius moments where I take the pictures BEFORE I leave. DUH!

Ready to see my new specs? I'm grateful my little girl can actually take a photo.

I'm still working on my Valentine Card for tomorrow. Last minute Nelly as usual! He'll get it. 🙂 I'll share in the morning.

XOXOXO

  1. Oh, Kimberly! I SO needed that giggle this evening! I have done that, too, while videoing and I'm like …what the heck?!
Seriously…this is a precious project! Thanks for sharing and for making me smile! …and, your glasses are so cute and your baby girl looks adorable in hers, too!
    Hugs, Lisa

  2. Great video . Can't tell you how many times I've done something backwards, sideways, or crooked without doing a video. Your great fun and TFS!

  3. Thanks for sharing Kimberly
I am going to try to make these but with cupcakes for my team members, for downline meetings. Your video was awesome, it was nice to see it from this view instead of the huge lineup at leadership. Thanks for sharing. one of these days I'll venture in this video making world.
    glasses look fab:)

  4. Your project you shared is wonderful. I loved the video, it's more memorable and I'll remember the mistakes (upside down paper). Thank you so much for sharing, I'm going to make one right now before I get side tracked, you glasses are awesome, they add a little character!!!

  5. I'm a somewhat new demonstrator (about 1½ years) and just love your blog! And the video just cracked me up! I reposted the video on my facebook page and my scrappy friends LOVE it! Thanks for the great projects and videos! 🙂

  6. I really loved your video .. it was fun .. and I have to say both you and your daughter look fabulous in your new glasses. They suit both of you! The card you made with the petal die cut really caught my eye .. I love it!

  7. Oh Kimberly – this was priceless. YES we are human! Loved the "you too can be a demonstrator" – priceless. Thanks for the video. I didn't get to see your demo at Leadership. I'm going to make these for my workshop hostesses – QUEEN FOR A DAY is the perfect stamp and this is the perfect place to use the crown jewels!!!
