Time is Ticking!

Good morning friends,

Time is ticking today!  It’s the last day of the AMAZING Stampin’ Up! $85 Starter Kit special!  Take advantage of the GREAT things Stampin’ Up! can offer you.  I could write a book on all the great reasons you should do it, but I will say it just a few words… BEST COMPANY EVER!  That is how I really feel.

If you are interested in Joining my TEAM or need more information, click on the Join My Team and see what it’s all about.  Have questions?  Email me directly!  I would love to answer them for you.

So, I have been MIA for the past couple of days because I have doing a lot of stamping.  I had a few friends over on Friday night and we stamped like there was no tomorrow.  Literally until the wee wee hours of the morning. You always know this is good stamping because we all had glitter everywhere and laughed like crazy.  How my kids sleep through my BIG mouth is always a question.

I want to share a few projects today.  These are my late night stamping projects where I just keep adding and having so much fun.  I hope you like them.

I love the stamp set Pendant Park!  So, let me tell you something really quick…. I went to the mall yesterday.  Bad bad girl!  But as I was walking through the mall all I noticed was how everything around me was vintage and shabby. I feel like I am in HEAVEN.  I love this style.  I love the delicate look of the style and really EVERYTHING about it.  So, bare with me.  <smile>

So what in the world did I use on this card?  Here ya go!

Stamp Set: Pendant Park (115456) , Friends 24-7 (113218) -HAVE TO HAVE STAMP SET!

Now that beautiful designer paper is from the Holiday Mini.  It’s called Christmas Cocoa Specialty (116770).  You can start ordering this beautiful paper tomorrow.  So exciting.  Once you touch it, you will fall in love with it.  It’s flocked and beautiful and so fun to just touch it.  I also used the Pretties Kit (109114) which I adore.  This kit is so fun to play with.  The hat pins are beautiful on any project.  I seem to use these all the time.

Here are the supplies I used:

Serious Stampin’ Going On!

Like I told you yesterday, there has been lots of stamping going on here in my stamp room.  I had two card classes back to back where my stampers really took home lots of cards.  I wanted to share some of the cards we did tonight.  This class is "Just Cards" and each month I change the theme.  If your like me, I can stamp these wonderful cards but I am always out of the traditional all occassion cards.  This month the theme is one I never like to stamp, but I do need.  We stamped Get Well and Sympathy cards.  I call this class an express class because we really do fast stamping.  These cards are nice and quick and easy to put together.  Here is taste of the express….

This card uses the Wellness Wishes (115356) stamp set.  You can barely see it, but I used the Textured Jumbo Wheel (116685) on the  bottom of the Brilliant Blue cardstock.  Don’t forget to stamp the envelope.  How cute is that Bandaid.  I just love it.

This card uses the Wellness Wishes stamp set too.  Again, simple assembly to make many of these cards.  I made a faux ribbon banner by using the Crushed Curry DSP on the side of the card.  Super easy, and a cool technique.

With these colors, who wouldn’t feel better?  This is the last stamp in the Wellness Wishes.  Really a great stamp set.  I love the new In Color DSP.  Designer Paper always adds such spunk to any card.

This beautiful stamp set, Thoughts and Prayers (113252) is really a must have in any stamp room.  The stamp set is beautiful.  I could go crazy with embellishments on ths card but I thought I did a good job of keeping it on the simple side.  I used Bordering Blue, Soft Suede and Not Quite Navy cardstock.  Oh yummy!

You know my feelings on the Medallion stamp set.  It’s just a must have.  YOU NEED IT!  I love how these colors worked together.  The front cover of the new Idea Book and Catalog gave me the color inspiration for this card.  I really don’t think you can make an ugly card with the Medallion stamp.  Just stamping on the envelope made me jump for joy.

This last card I am sharing is a card made at my last workshop.  It was a Fall Themed Workshop!

This card uses the Falling Leaves stamp set and Bright Blessings Jumbo Wheel.  Such a GREAT jumbo wheel.  Can you see all the fabulous words?  I also used a label from the Hodgepodge Hardware and cut the bottom piece off and had the sentiment hang from the Linen Thread.

I have many more to share tomorrow.  I hope this inspires you to stamp some all occassion cards.

Feeling like Fall!

Wow!  The last few days has been a little cooler for me and starting to feel like Fall is setting in.  I’m not ready!  I love Summer time but must admit I love to stamp Fall STUFF!  I love the colors and love leaves!

Here is a card we did at my Demonstrator meeting on Saturday.  Boy did we have a GREAT time.  We did a total of 5 make n takes.  This card shows you a little sneak peek of a stamp set in the Holiday Mini Catalog called Wandering Words.  I have many more ideas for this set.  This is a simple card and easy to make dozens of.

The leaf is a Sizzix Die Cut that I LOVE.  The leaves look real and if you bend and play with your cardstock enough you can really make the leaves look real.  I used the Sanded Background and my Favorite tool in the whole wide world… the Spritzer tool.  Such a fun tool.

It’s a quick post tonight.  I had a house full of crazy stampers today and another one tomorrow.  It’s been a stamping frenzy here and that is exactly how I love it.  Life is good!

See you tomorrow with new Holiday Mini Samples.  I am cookin’ up something good! (in the stamp deptartment anyways!)

Happy Wednesday!

6 Years Later…

It’s really a FABULOUS day!  It took 6 years but it was well worth the wait… My Mom became a DEMONSTRATOR!!!!  I am so excited!!!!!  No, I didn’t have to twist the arm.  She loves to stamp!  She loves her Big Shot and she loves stamping with her friends!  I just wish WE could stamp together.  It stinks to be so far away from each other.  She happens to really like the videos lately because she is very much a VISUAL person and I can teach her fun new techniques.

Wish her luck!  She is excited and she saved money by joining under Stampin’ Up!’s recruiting special for $85!  Very exciting.  If you want more information on this great opportunity, click the Join my Team up above.

This is a picture of my mom and her two doggies.  These are her children now.  <smile>  She is coming to visit me soon and I am really excited we will stamp together.

So, where in the world have I been?  Let’s just say I haven’t left my stamp room for long.  It’s been a busy week here.  Many clubs, a GREAT demo meeting and then I have a few classes this week I was getting ready for.  Love being busy.  Keeps me out of trouble.

I have loads to share with you.  I am also planning another video I think you will be excited about.  Below are the cards we made at my Just Cards Express a few weeks ago.  This class is EXPRESS!  They do 6 cards in just about an hour and a half.  I try to keep these cards simple and fun.  I hope you enjoy them. I will list basic supplies underneath each card.

This card uses the Medallion stamp (115223) set.  The sentiment comes from Fundemental Phrases stamp set (114968).  I used the Finial Press embossing folder (115963) and Sage Shadow ink.  I love how Sage Shadow looks on the Kraft cardstock.  I also used Kraft Taffetta ribbon.  Yummy!

I just love this new Soft Suede and it goes with so many of Stampin’ Up!’s colors.  This card uses the Circle Circus stamp set (115778).  I also used the Finial Press embossing folder again on this card, but this time I ran it through the Big Shot and then used various circle punches and adhered them to the top portion of my card.  I love how it gave this card dimension.

This card uses a very fun stamp set called On a Pedestal (113814).  I used the Tea Party DSP (113992)  and the beautiful color Almost Amethyst.  This is not a color I typcially use and I really love it.  I will have to pull it out more often.

I hope your week is filled with lots of stamping time! I have a busy few days and then I am diving into my Holiday Mini products.  I know, I know… I have barely touched them.  YIKES!
