Start making those beautiful handmade gifts for the Holidays! We all know once the Holidays hit things get so crazy we don’t know if we are coming or going! Right? My hope is to inspire you NOW with creative projects that will be of great help during your holiday gift planning. One gift that is truly NO Fail are the Tiles. You cannot screw up these gifts! Promise. In fact, my 6 year old can do these with her eyes closed. They are also inexpensive! Check out this fun tile I made this week:

I started this project with a 6×6 tile from Lowes. They are usually around 88 cents a tile. Here are the following products I used:
Glassy Glaze Page 188 (100477) 4.75 (approx 12 tiles per jar)
Vintage Ornaments 1 Stencils (117580) 14.95 (4 stencils per package)
Chocolate Chip 1 1/4 Striped Grosgrain Ribbon (115617) 8.95 (butt load of ribbon)
Jumbo Brads Pewter (108432) 9.95 (60 per package)
Pretties Kit (109114) 29.95 (Lots and Lots of pretties in there!)
Chocolate Chip CRAFT ink (101816) 7.50
Sponge Daubers
Stencil Paste
Christmas Greetings (115448)

Adding Stencil Paste:
Once your tile is COMPLETELY cool, you will add the swirly stencil over the glazed ornament on your tile. I use STENCIL EASE found at Hobby Lobby. It’s a BIG tub for 8.99. It’s like Cake Icing. This will bring the cake decorator out in you.
Place the stencil onto the ornament and put the Stencil Paste onto the tile. Let this dry anywhere from 1-2 hours. Time varies. Once this is dry, take another sponge dauber and lightly go over the dried stencil paste with a classic ink. It’s so beautiful once they are complete. Again, these are fast, easy and affordable. If you need the supplies, just go to my Online Store by clicking on the right and punch in the numbers above for your convience.
I’m also in the process of making a video of the stencil paste. Very LONG overdue. Don’t get too excited. My videos are nothing like the fancy ones you see else where. LOL! However, the goal is to show you how fun and easy the product is to use with our AMAZING stencils.
Time for me to talk to my fake audience again. I have 50 Stuffed Animals lined up ready to hear my convention speech. They don’t talk back and just stare crazy at me. Quite entertaining on my part.
Have a fab day!

Happy Monday! I have a few more Chirstmas cards I want to share this morning. We did these over the weekend.

Last year, one of my favorite stamp sets was from the Holiday mini called Winter Post. Every one of the images was perfect. Most of all I loved that snowflake. I love the modern feel this card throws off with that beautiful Holiday Lounge DSP. The DSP has Taken w/ Teal, and Sahara Sand in it so I used Sahara Sand as the cardstock base. I used Bermuda Bay to stamp the snowflakes. It was actually on accident because I wasn’t paying attention and thought the color in the DSP was Bermuda Bay. I love accidents with stamping. Sometimes the outcome comes out better.
The sentiment comes from Teeny Tiny Wishes!
Here is the last card we did!

This is another set from last year that I adored. A Cardinal Christmas! In fact, I have a framed card that Shelli Gardner did last year with this set and I keep it up all year. It was a beautiful card that we received in a swap at Founders last year. This set is beautiful on tiles. It would make great decorative tiles or coasters. I used the Finial Press embossing folder for the background and the new Holiday Best for the sentiment. It actually has a cardinal on the flourish but he got chopped because he was to chubby.
If you notice the big scallop square in the background, that comes from the Clear Scallop Square Die Cut. I trimmed off a smidge from one side and attached to the card. Then lastly I used that oh so yummy Chocolate Chip/Vanilla Striped Ribbon that is to die for. I used so much of it last year in the Riding Hood Red. I am SUPER excited to see these colors in this ribbon. Especially the black. I will have a ball with that and Halloween! I must admit that making these cards is gearing me up for the Holidays. How about you?
I hope your weekend is fabulous. I am off to shop for convention. I need new duds as I will be on the stage chit chatting.
They said Bikini’s were out.
Have a fabulous day!

Christmas!
Today was my first Holiday Zone class! It was filled with great stampers gearing up for the Holidays! Today we stamped 16 cards! I must say that everyone left feeling a little less stressed knowing they already have 16 cards complete for the Holidays. Whoo Hoo!
I am so excited to share a couple of the cards with you. These are my absolute favorites and so simple.

This card is super simple to put together. I thought this card just shouted elegance! I have fallen in love with the new Finial Press Embossing Folder (115963). I sure hope you have this. It really is a versitle embossing folder! I stamped the ornament from Tree Trimmings (116722) in Soft Suede ink. If you look at the second photo you can see just a tad bit of Dazzling Diamonds. It completed this card! Really! The sentiment comes from the stamp set Christmas Greetings (115448). I love the font of the Merry Christmas.
Check out this next card!

Makes me want to start singing Jingle Bells!
I’m finding that I am using tons of Very Vanilla cardstock. Haven’t figured out the reason yet, but I am noticing the pile getting smaller. Hmm??? The beautiful designer paper is called Merry Moments (115672). This paper is just jaw dropping. The colors are beautiful. The sentiment on this card is from Christmas Classics (111566). Great set and even fits in a few punches! I used the Perfect Detail Texturz Plate on the Very Vanilla cardstock. Great texturz plate! This is a Stampin’ Up! exclusive!
I hope you have enjoyed a taste of Christmas in my home. I have lots more coming. I worked on a beautiful tile today I think you will enjoy this week! Have a fabulous weekend!

Now for stamping inspiration!

This card uses the stamp set Animal Stories. Isn’t that little Giraffe cute? I used the Tall Tales Designer Series Paper and Soft Suede cardstock. The sentiment comes from Family Phrases. Cute little set to make kiddo cards with.

Can you tell I needed a few kiddo cards? This stamp set is my sons favorite stamp set right now. Lots of Bots (115293). For an 8 yr old, this is a perfect set. I love the new Bermuda Bay In Color. It’s such a beautiful color. I used circle punches in the same color, Bermuda Bay for a tone on tone look. Mr. Bot was watercolored on watercolor paper. Our watercolor paper is wonderful and high quality. If you love to watercolor, give Stampin’ Up’s watercolor paper a try. You won’t be disappointed.
Time for me to run with the wind and get this day started. I have a Christmas card class this weekend that I am finishing the designs for. Can’t wait to show you what I have up my sleeve. *wink*
Have a fabulous day!

The Medallion is a beautiful stamp any way you look at it! Try embossing with it and I think it just gives it more elegance. I used Soft Suede cardstock and embossed the Medallion stamp with Craft Black ink and clear embossing powder. So pretty.
I’m on vacation, enjoying time with family! You know I had to bring a few stamps with me!!!
