Aloha!
I know it’s been a few weeks since I posted and I am super sorry! It’s been a whirlwind of a couple of weeks. I caught a super nasty bug which put me right on the couch! Then I had back to back classes and a trip to get ready for. While I am not excited to be back in the cold weather after a beautiful week in Hawaii, I am excited to get back to business and stamping! There is something deep down in my soul that I just adore about this wonderful craft and I really do love sharing with so many of you! I am so touched by so many of you that were checking up on me. I am totally fine and TAN!
Here are a fun few pics of our recent trip to Hawaii. This was the Stampin’ Up! Incentive trip and I felt like a princess for the entire week.
This was taken in Honolulu where Russ and I spent the first two days of our trip. It was amazing. I was a little jet lagged, but overall I loved every moment.

Is there anything better than a Hawaii sunset? I was in heaven. Super beautiful! This was taken on the Big Island.

The first morning on the Big Island we had General Session and a wonderful breakfast with all our Stampin’ Up! friends. The sights were gorgeous on this resort and I know I didn’t get to see all of it. My mission while I was there was two things: Tan and Relax!
I am excited to tell you I accomplished both of them. Below is a picture of a few my friends. I just love these ladies!

I took hundreds of pictures, but I don’t want to bore you. I know you would like to see something creative. That is mission tonight! It’s time to be creative. Soon I will upload my pictures to snapfish and have a link for you to view if you are interested.
Again, thanks for checking on me. Now, it’s time to STAMP!!!
Just Pinch Me!

The big Irish Day is coming soon. Do you have a special card made for your Irish friend? I love the Pinch Proof stamp set. Super cute for many projects. This card uses lots of Kiwi Kiss and Basic Black. I also used Kiwi Kiss Designer Series Paper.
That’s all for tonight. I have a little more work to do and off to bed for me. Either a sneaky cold is upon me or the spring weather is getting me down. UGH!

All about flowers!
Sometimes I love to just take a vacation inside my stamp room and stamp to my delight just for ME. Last night I made this fun, full of flowers card and it was really like a mini vacation for myself. I received my special stamp set, On a Pedestal from Stampin’ Up! earlier last week for attending Regionals and having a workshop two weeks after the event. I was super excited about this set because of the cake pedestal. I’ve had this idea in my head for quite some time!

Here is a close up of the flowers…

I used the smallest flower from the Pretties Kit and sponged them with Pink Pirouette ink. I placed them on the Basic Grey cardstock stacking them like a cake. Then I added the pearls on top of the flowers using Crystal Effects. Lastly I lightly brushed the flowers with Crystal Effects and added Dazzling Diamonds. It just needed that glitter. Yummy. I used the new Manhatten Embossing Folder on the Whisper White cardstock for extra texture. I also made the Pedestal three dimensional. That made me smile silly. Again… I don’t know anyone getting married, so I guess I will just stare at this card. Blah!
It’s way past my bedtime tonight. Off to bed and a busy day tomorrow. Hope your week is super spectacular!

Big Shot Extravaganza!
It was a Big Shot night at my house with lots to learn and fun projects to make. The goal of the evening was to learn many of the fun dies and how to use them. Stampin’ Up! carries so many great dies with multiple uses. I love showing how you can do many projects with one die. Just as we do with stamps. Here are some of the projects I shared tonight. Grab your coffee… it’s a long one.

This box uses the Box #2 Die Cut and the Parisian Breeze Specialty Paper. We used the Wide Oval punch in the center with a window sheet to view the candy inside. The tag was made using Lots of Tags sizzlets. FABULOUS dies. I used a new Spring Mini stamp set called Great Friend.

This next project used the Scallop Circle, Clear Circle Die Cut and the Flower Embosslit die. I love that you can make fun trendy cards using the Scallop Circle die. We used the Clear Circle die to layer on top of Scallop Circle. I added a Fleurette to the Flower embosslit with a clear rhinestone brad. I love how delicate these Fleurettes are and they add a fun touch to any card.

This card just shows one more great use for the Top Note Die cut. I’m guessing this must be one of our most popular die cuts. Numerous uses have been found with this die. Here is another fabulous card. My friend Lisa shared this great technique and I was so excited. It’s so awesome and a GREAT way to use your beautiful Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper. This card also uses the Ribbon Bundle from Sale-A-Bration. The stamp set is Lovely Labels. The Bashful Blue Scallop is cut from the Pennant Die Cut.

The last card uses many dies. I started with the Movers & Shapers Curly Label Die Cut. Once cut, I used the Beautiful Butterflies die cut and the Textured plates on the bottom of the card. Stamps sets used are Flight of the Butterfly, Sprinkles, and It’s Your Birthday.
It was a GREAT night of fun and a great night for me to show why I LOVE my Big Shot!
Have a FABULOUS Sunday!
