You will have to excuse me for a day or two as I post a little inside scoop of our trip here in Florida.  Today was just the day I wanted to see.  Bright, sunshine and warm.  We took a little trip to the beautiful white sand beach this afternoon.  The kids were somewhat upset with me because they couldn’t "swim".  Once they put their big toes into the water there wasn’t any question why mom said "NO!" 

I’ve also been playing with my Photoshop program and made this little fun thing below with my program.  First let me say this is one of the hardest programs I have ever tried to learn.  The more I practice the better it gets. 

Now as for what I did here?  Oh my… I can’t really remember.  Maybe one day I will be able to figure this out and share fun photo techniques with you as well.  Right now I am just happy I can crop and sharpen a photo.    Here are a few more pics of our day.

I hope each of you had a VERY Merry Christmas.  We had a wonderful day and spent it with my brother, SIL and their kids as well as my parents.  It has been a while that all of us have been together. The kids were occupied with new toys and just quiet as they could be.  I feel like I ate all day.  The good news is my face *AKA Sinus Ickyness* is back to normal and I am feeling much much better. Ahh the joys of being on vacation. 

The weather here was in the 70’s and I hate to admit to my cold weathered friends but we had the air conditioner on.  Doesn’t seem right considering it’s December.  Honestly, I’ll take it.  I know what I am going back to.

Oh, and I think I miss my stamps!

Drama! As usual Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without DRAMA.   My brother is stuck in a Seattle Airport!  My sister in law got in a fender bender this afternoon and then there is ME!  Vacation just wouldn’t be vacation without a trip to the ER.  I have a terrible sinus infection that decided to blow up the right side of my face.  My right eyeball has been swollen the last three days and today I couldn’t take it anymore.  So, two and half hours, antibiotics and a few warm face clothes… I am feeling slightly better.  I guess the good news is I am close to my MOMMY!  You know mommy’s make everything better. 

Let’s pray the drama is complete.

Good morning from Florida!

What  a GREAT feeling to leave 16 degree weather and arrive in 72 degrees.  We had great flights and made it in on time.  The kids, although very tired were very excited to see their Nene and PawPaw.  Here you can see!

We had lots of hugs and kisses and then I was off to do some Christmas shopping.  I am super behind. 

I wanted to share a gable box I had decorated this past week for the teachers.  I used the Together Forever Wheel on the Gable Boxes using Basic Black ink and rolled the entire box.  Inside I placed pretty lotions and chapsticks.  They were so cute. 

I hope you are having a FABULOUS Sunday!  Time for me to figure out what lunch will be.  Oh boy!

Oh my, where did this week go?  It has been one crazy week.  We are leaving tomorrow for a warm 10 days in Florida.  The kids are making me crazy with excitement.  As promised I wanted to share the handprint tile with you.  I really recommend doing these if you have small children or grand children.  They are wonderful keepsakes and will always be cherished. 

The one on the left is from last year.  It was kind of my test tile as well.  Alexis noticed that her hand had not grown much. *chuckle*  If you look at it, she had the baby fat still in her hand.  This year she doesn’t.  Oh, that makes me sad.  Here are the tiles a little closer.  If you are looking for a tutorial on the tiles clickHERE!
