Using the Crop Tool with My Digital Studio

Kimberly Van Diepen, Stampin up

It's time to CROP, CROP, CROP! That's right, inside this great software I call My Digital Studio is a cropping tool that is so cool and can crop so many things.

Did you know that you can-

*Crop a Photo

*Crop an Embellishment -WAY COOL

*Crop a Stamp Brush! -Way Cool-er.

Think about it.  Have you ever come across a sentiment in Stampin' Up! and thought, "Dang, I love this saying but I wish I could crop out one word?"

With My Digital Studio you can.

First find the Crop Tool.

Depending on what you are working with- Stamps, Embellishments or Photos you will find the crop tool under each one of these in your design center on the right.

See picture below.

I loved this Flag from the Stamp Brush Make a Cake.  I only needed one of those tiny flags.

Here is where the crop tool becomes AWESOME.

Here is the Flag  AFTER I cropped just a small piece:

March was completely spelled out in the stamp brush.  I decided to crop and shorten it a bit.

Once the Flag was cropped I enlarged it enough to make it stand out a bit more and raised the drop shadow some.

I also cropped the stitching on my layout because with some of them do not like to be manipulated much.  If I crop it I get the affect I was looking for.

Cropping is just one of MANY great tools that you can use in My Digital Studio.

It makes creating a breeze and opens so many more options for designers.

Now, it's time for you to Crop 'til You Drop using your software.

Head over to our Facebook Challenge Group and see what members are cropping.

This group is fantastic with beautiful layouts are shared all the time.  Don't miss out.
