Sweet Kindred Spirits

Oh I hate when an idea comes to my brain at 1am!  It’s even worse when it involves a sewing machine.  What in the world was I thinking?  Like I told you yesterday the next couple of weeks I want to showcase some of our dear retiring sets that are only available until the end of June.

Here is my midnight creative piece!

I started with one of my favorite In Colors Pink Pirouette!  I took my Basic Black cardstock and roughed the edges with my Cutter Kit.  This is one tool that is used ALL the time in my stamp room.  I stamped the flower branch from Kindred Spirits stamp set using Whisper White Craft ink onto the Basic Black cardstock.  Then I used the 1 1/4" Pink Pirouette Grosgrain Ribbon and placed it on my Basic Black cardstock and used my Sew Mini to make the waves in the ribbon.  Honestly, not super easy and I am not the best behind the sewing machine but I loved the look it gives on this card.  I attached my Basic Black cardstock to the Pink Pirouette using dimensionals.  Using my three flower punch I punched the three small Pink Pirouette flowers and placed black brads in the centers of each.  Then using glue dots I attached them to the cardstock.

The last bit of detail for this card is the 1 3/4" Pink Pirouette Circle punch and 1 3/8" Basic Black circle punch.  I used my cutter kit around each of the circle edges and then attached them with snail. I stamped the sentiment onto Very Vanilla cardstock and stamped the flower over the sentiment using Pink Pirouette.  All of these small elements were attached using the super cute assorted clip!

Believe it or not,  for as late as it was this was a pretty fast card to put together!

Hope your week is fantastic!
