Sunday Inspiration

Happy Sunday!

I have a quick post with a layout I worked on last night. Thought I would share a little Sunday Inspiration.

Kimberly Van Diepen

I spent most of my day with my princess yesterday. It was all about us.  Nails, toes and just hanging out.  We had a blast.  The guys had their day too.  They were more into trains, antiques and acting like American Pickers.

The guys surprised me with this beauty:

I was pretty over the moon with this. It's been on my "list" for a LONG time.

I'm off to help Alexis sell more Girl Scout Cookies. This will be our last booth.  Let's hope it's a good one. 🙂

Below are the list of downloads I used for my layout. You can find all of these downloads in my Digital Store.  I hope you are playing with My Digital Studio!

  1. Ooooh, I love, love LOVE the typewriter!  My mom was supposed to get my granddad's when he passed away, and she was going to give it to me/my daughter.  But, it was allegedly "lost" in transit–supposedly stolen from a rental vehicle my uncle left it in.  How could you miss a whole typewriter??  Sadly, with my family, it's hard to know if it was really stolen/lost or if some other family member decided they'd rather keep it :-/
Thanks for sharing the fonts you are using on your MDS creations 🙂  I really am a font junkie…and I have a bad habit of downloading them and forgetting to install them, too!!!

Wiponderful page…..how special!     Love the old Royal…takes me back!   My fav was the correcting Selectric!   Have a great week!

  3. Love your MDS layout!  I've been playing with my MDS too!  Starting to love it.  The old Royal is a treasure (and so are your "guys").

  4. Enjoy following your blog & your family…just had to comment on the typewriter!  My dad worked his entire life for ROYAL Typewriter – age 16 until 52 when he unfortunately had a massive stroke which put him into retirement.  I so so wish when my mom cleaned out their house before downsizing that I could have had a few of his old typewriters!  Congrats on your find!

  5. Oh my. Our little typewriter needs a little work but what a treasure find it was. We’ve seen a couple more out there but not at the price we found. Thank you for sharing your story with me. 🙂
