Maybe I should be seeing Easter bunnies but it's not the case. I'm seeing STARS and lots of them. I got swifty with my e-cutter again last night and exported one of my Star punches. I then went to town cutting MASSIVE stars in all kinds of sizes as I used the stars for my TEAM cards and this little project. If you would have seen me in my little room I was pretty excited. The kind of excitement that causes you to talk to yourself and giggle.
Once the stars were cut the project was pretty easy to throw together. I placed all the stars with a tiny bit of Snail Adhesive on them to the Crumb Cake cardstock. Then I took my little sewing machine and just did a stitch all around the card. Just enough to tack the stars down. I'm not crafty with the sewing machine but I can make a MEAN stitch around a piece of paper.
I mounted the Crumb Cake layer onto the base of my card which is also Crumb Cake (4 1/4 x 11).
The center focal point of the card is just a few fun layers of cardstock, canvas and scallop ribbon that makes it so fun and frilly.
Before I tacked it ALL down, I decided to add a few Vintage Brads (my favorites) and wrapped a little bakers twine around each one. This bakers twine is special and I covet each piece. It came from the Boutique Boxes Designer Printed Kit and the twine is CRUMB CAKE! Yes, that kit is FANTASTIC. Another fav!

I did a quick video on exporting your SVG files from MDS then into your e-Cutter. Just remember to do your research on the different e-cutters available.
