Instead of Black Friday shopping with all the other crazies I decided to sit at home and play around with a new digital layout for the hop. Honestly, I was so FULL of turkey that the thought of getting out in the cold and standing in a line didn't appeal this year. Instead we just sat in our warm house, enjoyed the company of each other, watched TV and RELAXED. In my book this was FANTASTIC!!
I'm killing two birds with one stone this week. Our MDS Blog Hop theme is Stamp Brushes. I'm going to combine the MDS Blog Hop theme with Stampin' Up!'s MDS Challenge which is a sketch this week. Here is my layout:
Inside My Digital Studio you have so many GREAT stamp brushes. One of the 100's of reasons I love using My Digital Studio is the ability to create with some of my favorite stamp sets but make them REALLY BIG or REALLY SMALL. This comes in VERY handy if you are a hybrid scrapbooker. You can create with your favorite stamp brushes in MDS, hit the print button using your favorite cardstock and place this on your hybrid project. It gets better. Our stamp brushes are now created as SVG files. This means you can use an e-Cutter to cut our stamp brush images. N-I-C-E! You also have the ability to change the colors and crop the stamp brushes.
In the photo above you can see the stamp brush image "I Like to be with You". I changed the stamp brush to two different colors instead of just one solid. This is simply done by double clicking on the image and using the cool paint brush to change the color to suit your needs.
It get's even better! You can also CROP your stamp brushes. Look how I changed the stamp brush…
This cropped version of the stamp brush was a simple change to the layout but one I ended up really liking and keeping. You can also crop your embellishments. These are just a few of the amazing features of MDS 2.
