MDS Blog Hop- Postcards!

Happy Friday, Happy Blog Hop!

This week's challenge was a postcard.  Boy, that was a challenge.  When it comes to MDS I'm more apt to make a scrapbook page over anything else.  I found it funny as I was creating my post card and how much trouble I was having although it comes so easy when I play with regular paper. I think my challenge was working with something on a much smaller scale.  I love a good challenge and I loved it so much I created TWO!

Here is my first project:

This is the front of my post card.  I wanted to try my hand at a little chalkboard art.  I used a download from convention that's "chalked" full of great word art. I know this postcard can be put to use for many things like my awesome customers and my amazing team.

As I was working on the card above I thought it would be fun to create a postcard for my kids when they go back to school.  For the past couple of years I've given them a card tucked away into their backpacks so they find them sometime during the first day of school.  I love when they come home off the bus with a big smile not only because they had a great first day but also because they had a little something from Mom.

Here is the design for this year-
