Remember when I told you about the Hostess Sets this year and how AMAZING they are? Gosh ya’ll! They are ALL great!
It’s been so long that I wanted every single one of them. Today I am sharing my favorite though.
As a lover of all types of fonts, the font used for this image “Hello There”, is SO perfect and looks fantastic on a card.
My new stamp club created this card last month and we loved how the embossing powder made this really stand out.
Tips to Create this Card
- This card also uses the Kinda Eclectic stamp set. When stamping the big starburst image, you will want to stamp off first then stamp the starburst onto the Whisper White cardstock as shown in the photo above.
- Make sure the ink is dry before stamping the Hello There image with VersaMark so the embossing powder only sticks to the Greeting and not the entire starburst image.
- Use an Embossing Buddy to decrease embossing powder sticking in other places you do not want.
- When using the Chevron Border Punch, practice on a scrap piece of cardstock measuring 5 1/2″ across so you can see how you will need to line up the punch when using it for your card.
