Happy Home – Stampin’ Up!
The Happy Home stamp set has been sitting in my stamp stash since November. I believe this was a stamp set that I had received for free at one of our OnStage events. The key phrase here- sitting on my shelf! What the What?
It’s was only discovered to be untouched as I went through pulling my retired stamp sets. I took a peek at it and could only shake my head.
You see, I have a problem.
It’s a true stamp addiction.
I have to have all of the cuteness. Then I get the said cuteness and like a true hoarder I put it in a safe place only to be found months later.
You can click on the image above and see the wood mount bundle for this product.
This set comes in a bundle that is pretty stinkin’ awesome. Now the Happy Home stamp set will retire on May 31st. The Hearth & Home Thinlits Die will be in the NEW catalog. This little thinlit is a FUN and also versatile.
I kept the card simple and only added a few layers (well maybe more than a few-I got carried away!) of cardstock and ribbon. Both of the ribbons that I used are also retiring. AHHHH. These were my MOST used ribbons- Venetian Lace and the Chevron Natural ribbon.
I wanted to add a little texture to the card so I used the Stylish Stripes Textured Impressions Folder.
If you look closely you will also notice that the piece that I textured embossed is also one of the new In Colors. That Flirty Flamingo coordinates perfectly with the other pink tones I have- Blushing Bride and Watermelon Wonder. Oh so PRETTY!
One of my new crafting habits is cutting small greetings like you see above and placing next to a focal image on my projects. Well, it seems like I’ve been doing this a lot. I see a trend anyways… I kinda like it.
The coloring for this card was easily done with a Sponge Dauber for the tree. I used a Blender Pen for the grass and flowers.

I found plenty of unused stamp sets in my cupboard. Bad me! Trying to better my life.
