It's my mantra this week. Last week I felt all pooie from allergies and it kinda carried into the weekend. Believe me, I wasn't feeling awesome and I wasn't getting things that needed to be done- done!
I vowed this week I would subconsciously tell myself to be awesome and maybe I would not only feel better but also get a few things done. Let's hope it works.
Friday I took both Brandon and I to the Dr. as we were both feeling yuck. I learned what I knew going in. They couldn't' fix our allergies because we were essentially taking all the right things already. Brandon and I were pretty bummed and pitiful looking to say the least. Of course no day is bad enough that I cannot snap a picture. I thought I would capture the memory.
I'm learning fast that alone time with a pre-teen is when you find out ALL the good information. I learned how to twirk, a new fist bump and the best part… the name of the girl he has a crush on. While I won't be twirking anytime soon, it was great to hear this boy chat away. I scored a few great mom points on this Dr. trip. I may have to do this once a month to get the inside scoop.
I know I sound like a broken record each Monday, but this layout is exactly why I love My Digital Studio & digital scrapbooking. Technology is so great that I can snap a picture on my phone and then just hours later tell our story. Believe me, I want Brandon to remember him teaching me to twirk… it will be a lasting memory to say the least.
