Spring-Bring it On!

Holy Cow, Spring must be around the corner after the day we had in VA today.  Just beautiful.  I wanted to stay outside all day but work called.  Stamp work that is.  I've got many projects up my sleeve that I'm working on this week.  I have two projects to share today.  Bare with me as I share more My Digital Studio layouts this week. Totally addicted to digital designing because I can throw my laptop in my bag and off I go to the next kiddo activity.  I sit and design (look kinda important too) away while the kiddo's are enjoying their activities.  We all win in this situation.  <smile>

Let me share a few fun cards first.  These are from my Card Buffet I've held this week.

This first card uses the You're My Type stamp set.  WHAT a CUTE set.  This is a super easy card that you can sit down and make tons of.

My next card uses the Elegant Bird Die cut along with the Sale-a-Bration set Fresh Vintage and Everyday Enchantment DSP.  You can receive the Fresh Vintage stamp set and Everyday Enchantment DSP FREE with each $50 purchase.  GREAT GREAT DSP.  I love it.  Again, this is a fast card and easy to duplicate LOTS and LOTS of times.  The "Happiest Birthday" sentiment comes from the Apothecary Art stamp set. I love the font of this sentiment.

Again, I'm diving into My Digital Studio so that I feel comfortable teaching my first basic class next week to my local customers.  I am really excited about this class because it will be my first Digital Class.  Tonight I want to share a layout that I made after seeing a layout on Pinterest.

I love these pictures of the kids and it was a fun day that we had with Russ when he popped into the states from Iraq during his deployment.  I'm not sure if I ever told you about the scrapbook I made for Russ at Christmas time.  I made a book for him before he came home that took about 3 weeks for me to finish.  It was completely done using My Digital Studio.  My book was 100 pages and it's my most prized gift I've ever given to him.  I love it so much because the digital book told the story of Myself and the kids over the 7 month deployment.  It was filled with the good, the bad and the ugly. I left nothing out of this book and the reason I love it so is because of the journaling that is written in the book.  I've been a scrapbooker since 1996.  I cannot tell you how many traditional pages I have that do not have a stitch of journaling on them.  Why, you ask? Because I'm a procrastinator and I told myself I would go back and journal.  Guess what? I haven't gone back to journal.  I think this is one of the reasons why I'm enjoying My Digital Studio.  I journal right away because I know I'm going to send the page or book to print soon.

Again, I encourage you to take a minute and download the FREE trial.  Give it a whirl.  It's a GREAT program. Go to my Online Store and you will find lots of fun things. Oh and GUESS WHAT???? Exciting news!!! There is a new product that you can purchase today.

  1. LOVE your cards Kim and the stories behind them, so inspiring! It's time for me to jump in and learn MDS too, I've dabbled some but need to seriously jump in and just DO it! Thanks for sharing :).

    Hey Kim!
First, I love your blog and your stamping style!!  And your writing style, for that matter!!
When you hold a Card Buffet, how many "kits" do you have available for each card?  I do a monthly class, but only offer 5 different designs.  I'm interested in learning about the Card Buffet option.
Thanx for whatever info you can provide!

  3. Shawne, I have 10 designs available and I cut 20 of each. I know that sounds like a ton but I can always use the cards for my downline and customers. I do carry over cards for the next Card buffet. This way my if my customers were not able to make that card the first time they can make it on the next round. I hope that helps you.
